What's happened to Matty James of late? Not after a rise but if he's been dropped then Nigel has seen that he's a weak link in an otherwise good team. The couple of times I've seen him I wouldn't pay him in washers. Looked truly awful.
Matty James is injured. He came back into the team recently and he has been one of our best players. He is only 20 and other then 2 loans spells at Preston and reserve team football he has never played any matches. He is a very good player to have in the squad
He's ill at the moment as is Liam Moore. He was poor against you but since he's been superb. We've not seen an awful lot of him but he's very slow. One thing you can be sure of with James is that he'll keep possession and move the ball around. Never gives the ball away.

Did he play against Boro? I was watching out for him but never heard his name mentioned. If he wasn't on the pitch then I've made an error. If he was he was totally nondescript, which is how I think of him anyway.

Yeah Matty James played. Holding midfielder Since James come into the team Knockaert really had took off because James will always be covering should Knockaert leave the De Laet a little exposed
To be honest I knew that he played as I kept a close eye on him. He was very poor IMO, just like he was against us. I'll take your word for it that he's a good player because I think he's a poor imitation of a holding midfielder.
How many times have you actually seen him play? Dont get me wrong he is a very good player but he isnt spectacular. He does a very good job for the team, he is a very good team player sort of like Carrick is for Man U. A very reliable player that will do a very good job for the team

Probably more than any of you lot have seen the Prosmeister. I think you'll get promoted this season and can see a number of your players adapting to the PL no problem. He isn't one of them.
He's 21 and we've seen enough of him to suggest he'll have a part to play. As for the Prosmeister, we're big fans. We see him as much as we can.
I agree with you, if we did get to the prem I dont think James will be ready. I would look at loaning out for the season but I do think he will make a decent midfielder in the prem when he's got a bit more experience. All the Man U fans rated him and some didnt want him to leave, injuries held him back they all felt. Prossie is ****, to spend nearly 3M on a striker and for him to have scored 2 league goals and hardly play points out to anyone that it just hasnt worked out for him
Matty James has only played 48 games in his career. Thats 1 whole season so that just proves our point on him. He is still very inexperience but still a very decent player for us. Nigel has had to manage him and he has done a very good job at doing so
I can only go on what I see and I don't rate James, in fact I think he's weak and a bit ****. I'll be very surprised if he ever makes it beyond the Championship. It's just my opinion but I'm rarely wrong on such matters.
