I'm trying to take some positives out of today so was thinking (hoping) the goals might start flowing if we can get Remy AND Zamora fit at the SAME time !!
Thought Bobby's 'flick ons' today could be the perfect things for Loic to latch onto and put in the net.

Am I really just clutching at straws here or is my thinking possibly correct ??

Thought it was going to say they're a pair of crocks!
Can't tell you how pissed off I am with this Remy injury. Looking grim.

HR said Zamora can play for 35 mins max and that we might need another op at the end of the season. Im guessing that means he can only play for 35 mins in each game for the rest of the season then???

And the fact that Remy is injured with a strain/tear makes our situation even worse.

Zamora's hip was clearly giving him problems towards the end

Yes agree totally. Stupid to let him leave on loan before we got someone else in.

Before the window we all cried out for another striker, not one to replace Cisse if you get what I mean. Once we let Cisse go we then needed another which we didnt get.

That decision may cost us dear imo.

Quite honestly it comes down to the fact that 'Arry' didn't rate him (or Faurlin)

Although Cissé did nothing to demonstrate any sort of passion to change 'Arry's opinion in the games he played. Perhaps DJ and Bothroyd will surprise everyone and pick up the slack by stepping up to grab a few goals.

Regarding our penalty attempt today, which really wasn't a bad attempt, although Taarabt's body manner seemed to indicate that corner, I'm sure if we still had Helguson he would have stepped up and delivered one of his rather scary, nonchalant, deft penalty shots resulting in a goal.

I would have preferred to have Betty on the pitch than Mackie today. Dire.

Obviously not, but we're now stuck with bloody Bothroyd, whilst we've loaned out Cisse and, low and behold, Remy is injured!! Gutted!!!!!!!!!

Sadly not. Betty has some quality. I know because I've seen it three times - Cardiff v us in championship season; away v Spurs second half last year; home v City last year. Jamie runs around a lot, we love his effort but he is not good enough to make things happen.
To be honest, Betty would be crap too, but at least a different kind of crap.

I was very disappointed with today"s effort.

Incredible how we can see such differences from the very same match.

    But that's opinions I suppose!

We have too many players who are unable to retain possession for any length of time. Norwich were poor and yet they kept the ball much better than us. We should have gone 4-4-2 from the start or 4-2-3-1 when we needed to win. Harry got it wrong today imo starting with 4-4-1-1.

I have missed 2 of our 12 home league games so far - Everton and Spurs. That means I have seen us score a grand total of 7 goals in 10 home games. I am not being entertained. I don't mind spirited performances against the top teams like Chelsea and City, but Norwich are ****, really **** and nasty with it. I expected a lot more today.

Exactly this. (except I haven't missed any home games). Not playing an attacking formation against Norwich at home was criminal.
