.......keeping the faith is a real roller coaster. About 90 miles from the transmitter but actually got signal on 96FM......hard to hear but was worth it!!
You didn't miss much 60 minutes of ale house rubbish although last 30 minutes quite decent, we should have won, missed 3 easy chances to win, you are the 2nd worst side to play at Deepdale this season, we are the worst. I'll put full match summary on PNE site shortly. Good luck for the rest of the season, you'll need it as will we.
Themaclad, Thanks for the sporting manner in which you accepted the defeat - after our last few home games I am stunned we can even score a goal, let alone win a game. I think you will be OK to stay up (as perhaps will we if we kick on from this and manage to win more than one game in a month) and look forward to our games with you next season.
very lucky win today, but lucks going to have to play a big part for the remainder of our season, two equally bad sides who took part in this Sunday pub scrap, both teams were as bad as each other, i think if Preston had fifty shots at our goal they wouldn't have scored and was surprised when Beavons screamer went in, and they must have by far the worst defence in this league... but, Marv didn't exploit this weakness in anyway whatsoever. I suppose the more positive thing about this game we normally give goals away in the final 15mins but this time we nicked one.
I went with a mate to the Notts county away game last season and was amazed at the fact that the car picked up 96fm as we travelled out of notts down through Clifton. Do you regret not going now?
Probably......PNE is still on my bucket list! Strange, my car radio gets Radio Devon near Worcester......probably better than house one! Random but true! Bring on the big boys of Div One!
You should preface your comment about Shrewsbury with "On the day", just the same as Ronnie Moore said "on the day" Shrewsbury were the best team Tranmere played and there have been equally flattering comments by Uwe Rosler, Danny Wilson, and Karl Robinson amongst others
