Just like Michu (a CAM, not a striker) has peaked for this season, so have Swansea. They deserve the League Cup they will probably pick up at Wembley, but they should enjoy it for what it is.

Same thing with Stoke. A while ago some fans were crying on 606 that they should be competing in Europe. 1 win in 10 should quieten them down.

 

Why wouldn't we be even remotely interested in Sissoko? Has been quality for Newcastle in just two games.

Really wish we'd gone for Sissoko! We looked at him closely two years ago when he would have cost us around 10-15mill, now he's gone for a bargain price and is showing what a good player he is.

Missed out there. Would have provided some propper steel to our midfield.

Actually we went 3-1 down against Villa quite easily. It was the getting back to 3-3 that we struggled with

I really can't see us getting anything but there's always that feeling in the back of your mind, and I think its the same for any football supporter, that we can go there and get a win especially with Kompany & Toure out. Bet you guys are thinking the same about Old Trafford. You don't give yourself much of a chance, logically, but you just think if things go your way you could nick a draw/win there.

And yeah, the fact Villa have picked up 4 points from Merseyside, especially when they've been so ****, is annoying for both of our clubs. I think both our teams underestimated them and went into the game expecting to win easily and just got a bit too relaxed defensively and it cost us the points.
