Good win by Arsenal. Could have been more because Stoke are very bad. It is a bonus to come out of the game with no injuries and three points

Who was the best player today? I'd say it's a tie between Arteta and Koscielny, with everyone else not too far behind.

Arteta IMO. He read the game very well. The defense was excellent today. There weren't really any bad performances.

I'd say Theo, with Arteta a close 2nd. Good to have him back, we've missed him.

Only watched the last 20 mins. What did everyone make of Monreal's performance?

    We have a left back.

He did make a couple of errors towards the end, but he looked out on his feet.

Very good. Handled his man well and could have had an assist or two. Tired out near the end, but all in all a very good debut.

According to the BBC website match report we had 47% possession, surely some mistake?

Pretty solid all through the game, one miscontrol and one mistake, other than that very good. Good positionally and reads the game well, also good supporting the attacks, but doesn't leave himself open or exposed <ok>

Theo did well to beat his man numerous times, but he didn't do much with his final ball, and didn't get may chances for himself. Still it was a decent effort from him today.
