Mon's tactics are annoying the crap out of me at the moment: 4411 in a game for the taking against a very scrappy side (full credit to them for taking what was there for the taking though). That said, our players were meek and couldn't hold any possession.

Rather than sit on the fence, I'm going to give mon the lion's share for this one - his rigid and negative tactics stifles our players on days like today. We only came alive when graham came on. Granted, we also conceded the bloody goal during that time too - but if we played more positively from the outset, perhaps it never would have come to this?

Respect to reading, but I'm not interested in nicking games from them like we tried today. I want us to go out and try to impose ourselves and win convincingly - or flame out trying.

Results have not been great this season but the way we have played has been even worse apart from maybe 2 games

Played them at the wrong time.

Bramble gave away the free kick that led to their goal

Gotta give it a go against some of the so called lesser sides.

Marty has to hold up his hand today.

    Team selection was rank.

All the fuss surrounding Grahams arrival, spent £5m and then don't play him against relegation candidates.

That was ****e Marty. Utter ****e.

How many times this season has his team selection been ****e? I don't want my patience to wear thin but its starting to. If this is how we are destined to play football then I am sorry you can keep it. Awful to watch.

Agree mate, we have been absolute dire for most of the season.

It's not enjoayable to watch with this horrible, negative setup we deploy home or away, game after game. Utter tripe

There are no bad tactics, just bad players.

MON changed it at 0-1 by moving Sess into the hole, Larsson wide and got us back into the game. He went to 4-4-2 to try and match Readings formation, when we were on top and they were chasing the game, an individual mistake cost us, that match is finished now lets look forward to the Arsenal game.

No offence mate but, why no two up top like all the Graham lovers said? Whole team were poor from what I saw it happens we move on.
