Nope. I'm reasonably happy with that too. Good point away from home to go with the good point against Spurs who are a top side. The lads worked hard for both of them.
All in all I think a point is ok considering we could have lost it with that penalty. It's frustrating Hughton don't make subs sooner, 5 minutes isn't long enough for a player to make an impact. People who think Holt had a bad game needs their eyes testing. Need Becchio and Holt on.
We are a digital team, 1 or 0. We are either very defensively strong or very attackingly strong. Unfortunately we can't link the two plays atm. Little cameo of a Holt/Becchio partnership? I have a lot of hope, particularly at home to Fulham next. How much did they pay for Samba? He's total ****.
Happy with the point there Don't forget they held man city on tues too Surely we need to play holt and beccio vs fulham.
I listen to it tomorrow, thanks for the heads up From a knee jerk POV though, without hearing what is being said, drawing away to a team that cannot score goals is not great on an average day so can understand the frustration.
Looked wide to me, but yes Holt had a decent game enough, shame he couldn't get at Hill like last time.
As his been the case all season, we are lacking the clinical edge in front of goal. Hoolahan had two excellent chances which should have been converted (granted the second was a ridiculous save from Julio Cesar). QPR were always going to throw the kitchen sink at us today and although some of our attacking play left a lot to be desired we defended sternly and I'm happy with the point in the end. Two solid draws is a good basis to build upon in our next game against Fulham.
Niall Quinn awards man of match to Townsend. FFS we have a keeper who saves a pen + 3 other good saves!!! They really do only see one team. Skys comments are a joke
So did Man City Thai, so in perspective today's result was a worthy one and I'm pleased with the draw, and although it wasn't pretty it was a performance of credit for the lads.
Don't get me wrong, I am not disappointed with a point but I can understand other people with a much shorter fuse getting pissed off
Yeah Thai, some people can be right assholes - imagine what they would have been saying if we'd have lost ???
the stats show that the foul count was -QPR 6, City 22. that is ridiculous, far too many rather stupid incidents. and too many balls lumped aimlessly forward by the defence. a little bit of composure and we would have won that match. but another point towards safety.
