But you're talking about Fatty like you know about him. You don't know he's "decent". From the outside, this looks the Chairman calling the shots over Bruce, like ours did with Abe (failure) and Forest's owner has done with their Kuwaiti keeper. I wonder how Bruce really feels about their signings?
its a bit unfair to call yuki abe a failure, overpriced and overpaid maybe but there were times that he looked real class and given another season im sure he would have become a star here. the fact remains however that the step up from 3rd world to top class football is huge and it doesnt happen overnight
Abe was no better than what we had already (Wellens). His signing was a publicity stunt that, thankfully, our owners haven't repeated. Not until we're in the Prem anyway...
