Ha ha: don't we have a few spare plans floating around too...... Have you a spade in the ground? That's always good....
The majority jumped on the late 70`s and 80`s bandwagon, although I expect to see numbers decline in the coming years..... the latest generation are all jumping on the Man Utd bandwagon these days. There is nothing wrong with talking about trophies and success, just using them as a reference point every time your team is struggling or well below past endeavours (present for Liverpool), is just a typical defensive reaction for regular glory supporters. I have a glory supporting Mouser friend and after Spurs beat Liverpool he (without any provocation) felt the need to regurgitate ancient news.... we have 5 european cups....18 titles etc etc.... whatever, get to the bar!

To be fair: if he just spontaneously came out with that at the final whistle its maybe due to special needs rather than his being a Liverpool supporter. Get a new friend or stop throwing drink down Timmy's throat. You know it makes him feel funny.
So is it ok to talk about the cup we won last season?. In the 70s and 80's almost all match going reds were locals mate, pay at the turnstiles on the day/night of the game etc and you're kidding yourself if you doubt it.
New White Hart Lane? You mean the Aldi Stadium or Ryan Air Arena. It tends to be airlines, or high society shops like Sports Direct... Though I must say, I love Sports Direct. Being serious for a moment. Do you have a sponsor lined up?
By the time thats built your chairman may have pretended to be buying Leandro Damiao on the last day of the window another 10 or 15 times
Audi. My favourite part of the stadium is the single-tier stand we're getting please log in to view this image Similar to Dortmund's famous "Yellow Wall".
Before you get too carried away, many an owner ( not just ours) has promised the high and mighty. I can easily bring out H&G stadia creations that looked immense, never came about though. You will need CL footy on the regular to be able to fund such stadium.
Nice stadium WY, does like quite impressive but I'll believe that when I see it. I suppose it must make designing a stadium a little bit easier when the architects don't have to plan a space for a trophy room
Not getting carried away, full planning permission has been granted, all required land and properties have been purchased and phase 1 (building of a new Sainsburys mega store) has already commenced. As yet, we have not finalised naming rights and as far as I know it is only a matter of funding (and a few other minor wrinkles) left to be sorted out. Regular CL qualification is not a must (although it would be handy) as this project is going ahead regardless, seeing as Spurs practically have a break even net spend on transfers in the last 5 years, I can see where the money is going. ENIC and Levy are determined to deliver this stadium and we are probably about three quarters of the way down an extremely long road and it is probably about 95% certain it will be built.
Both clubs are still living on past glory and both are trying to get back to where they think they belong. The next few seasons will be crucial for both. We both need to take the Europa seriously atm, success in that competition could be a springboard. Not much to argue with here.
What Spurs glory? I wasn't just being argumentative when I said that they had failure built into the culture of their club. If Spuds fans look closely at their history they will see that failure has happened just too many times for it not to be cultural. As for your new stadium, enjoy it if it arrives. You may as well because you are seriously going to be paying for it for a long long time.
You should change your name Dave, PoopDeck might be more appropriate. Spurs invented Glory and I am not going to list it all out here. You look it up.
Go and talk to Swansea fans - they are glorying in finally getting the CHANCE to put something in their trophy cabinet. In the great scheme of things Spurs are only slightly ahead of them. Why do you have a username that sounds like a cow producing a cow-pat?
We clearly haven't won as many trophies as l'pool but we have had some great moments in our history...first and only non league club to win the FA Cup...First club in the 20th century to do the league and FA Cup double...first British club to win a European Trophy...Still hold the top flight record for winning the first 11 games of the season. We were very successful in the 1961 - 1973 (3 FA Cups, 1 league title and 1 European Cup Winners Cup, 1 UEFA Cup and 2 league cups) From 1981-1991 we won 3 fa cups and 1 UEFA Cup. since then we have only won 2 trophies in the past 22 years I personally don't support spurs cos of this or cos we might win more or cos we might get a new ground...I simply love being a spur...just like pool fans love being reds...to be honest our lack of success made beating chelsea in the carling cup final in 08 fantastic for me and my kids. I love footie banter and enjoy it when you lot struggle (my mums husband was a violent **** bag that support your lot...so obviously you lot deserve my contempt...) but don't understand the rivalry thing...we ain't rivals in the true sense but I guess if you keep picking up in the league we might be rivals for a european place this season.
remembercolinlee I have to agree with you about why we support our clubs. When I started going to Anfield we had just been relegated and spent the next 7 seasons just missing out on promotion. At that time Everton ruled the roost in this city and it was a hard time for us. For me that's why I love LFC for being what it is. Unfortunately there are ****s that are associated with all of our clubs. As for Spurs, I don't hate them but a number of their supporters have an exaggerated opinion of themselves and their team.
