That phrase should be reserved for Prof. Brian Cox and he alone.

I'd let him quantify my mass.

I'd let him probe my quasar and all sorts <ok>

Can't help talking about us <doh>

I thought it said last week that they were moving back to raise their kids in London or somewhere like that.

Means Beckham could easily commute to Paris everyday, think it takes about 2 hours from London to paris.

Especially with the way he hhas twice broke the QPR transfer record and is paying Samba a reputed £100K a week.

Wife and kids are "settled in London", he's got a pad in gay Paris as part of the deal. As to whether he spends more time in London or Paris, to find out you'll have to buy Hello magazine.

Yes, all very admirable... he's a free agent yet chooses to sign on transfer deadline day?

    Coincidence?

    <laugh>

    He's a media genius alright!

He's unbelievable - he even times his bowel movements to coincide with the 6PM news just in case it needs reporting.

The whole giving his money to charity, is just typical Beckham. 'Hey look at me I'm giving my wages to charity'

If he genuinely wants to give to charity then he should do it discreetly , like everyone else. He should have just taken his wages from PSG and just gave them to charity off his own back without broadcasting it.

The fact it had to be broadcasted to the press that his wages are going to charity, says to me that he is not giving to charity out the goodness of his heart. He's only doing it to get good PR

Last year, I was on a family holiday in Bexhill-on-Sea.

Believe it or not, but Becks and his lot were in the chalet next to ours. Each night, around 10pm, he would stand outside for a smoke and a bottle of Bishop's Finger. We got talking over the first week and ended up really close. We would talk for hours about our interests, woes and views on politics and other current affairs.

The last few days of the holiday we went out and about together while the wives and kids stayed at the resort. Battle Abbey, Deal and Walmer castles and the Roman fort at Richborough were some of our destinations, and the weather was cracking to add extra magic to the memories.

On the second to last day, we took a picnic over to Pevensey Castle and sat eating, drinking and sketching the magnificent vistas in pastel and charcoal. I have one of Becks' pictures hanging on the front room wall: a prosaic take on the castle and how it would have looked circa 1066, before the drainage of the now surrounding pastureland.

We now keep in touch via email and hope to book a caravan in Worthing for the summer holidays. Arundel Castle and the Long Man of Wilmington are next in line.

    Happy Days, indeed.

Becks is a great bloke, only last week i had to shift an old cooker as it finally packed in. I was standing outside trying to shift the thing by rocking it back and forth slowly making progress towards the end of my drive.
Next thing i know a Bentley rolls up driven by none other than David Beckham , he asked me if i needed a hand and before i could say Euro 2000 he already started folding the back seats down.
We both somehow managed to get the rusty old cooker into his motor and he drove me to Hackney tip to dispose of it.
He didn`t even let me help him out with petrol , so we had a beer and burger in Wetherspoons after, my treat of course.
What an absolute gent of a man, he even let one go in the car and wound down the window to disperse the smell.
No need really as even his farts smell nice...

Not to sound harsh, SN23, but I don't really believe you.

Becks and I were in a little chapel over at Headcorn - I bent down to look at the remains of a 12th century laver, when he accidently guffed in my face. The smell was not good, especially for an athlete. He apologised instantly and blamed the pungent whiff on the clam chowder he had scoffed the night before. But, in my opinion, it ponged like a mixture of raw mince and ****.

It was nice of him to help out with the cooker, though.

The thing is, in a week he'll have contributed more to charity than you and your entire family will contribute in their lifetimes.

Does that make him better than you? Yes.

Does it matter if it's making him publicity? No.

Would you go on about it to every ****ing **** you met if you'd chosen to give several million pounds away to charity in a few months? Yes.

Go **** yourself you jealous prick <ok>
