telling there fans they wish to be debt free by june this year it comes as no surprise that they have gone out and bought championship players to help them over the line,to the end of the season.low transfer prices, low wagers ,higher gate pricers for next season, thats the way to get your debts paid how do you supportes feel about this?answers on a fifty pound note please to DELIA SMITH ,thanks
I feel fine actually. Our club is run the right way by good business people who care about the club, unlike others we know who are not too far away .......
If we are external debt free by the end of the season, it means no interest payments to banks or other finance houses for starters. How many clubs can claim this? Answers on a one rupee coin, please
ah, nice to see a post backfire! fact is, 99% of fans acknowledge what the club is doing and agree with it, yet the OP seems to expect us to be 'up in arms' in some way. no chance. i think a few will be disappointed we didn't get one or two other players but we will now have a very big kitty in the summer when prices are reduced and more options are available. we've improved the squad - that was the aim - so basically, your musings are misplaced
I am very excited about the summer window opening. Last year I think we did some great business and most of it early too. Really I am hoping that McNally continues to talk to other clubs about players and potential deals so we can get player in, and out and have a good pre season.
I get terribly upset by anybody other than a NCFC supporter who criticises anything the club does. If the supporters are: Happy with the way the club is run, the way the manager plays the game, the price it costs to watch a game and the image of the club with the media, if the supporters have two thumbs on each hand, if Grant Holt eats a cow pie at half time and if Delia likes a bottle of red or two . . . THEN IT IS FCUK ALL TO DO WITH ANYONE ELSE
Too right and 'white horse' can go and ride off into the hills for all I care!! 'white horse' is synonymous with failed wum!!!!! Excellent post redruth!!!!
How does it feel to constantly avoid relegation to league 1 whilst a dodgy crook rinses you for all that you've got? Answers on any number of fifty pounds notes (or the tenners you waved at us will do) to Marcus Evans until Ipswich Town's debt to him is cleared. Thanks....
For a town fan to be ridiculing us is lame, in the extreme - and he knows it. The whole OP smacks of jealousy and desperation
Wrong. We didn't get where we are today by being the East Anglian equivalent of QPrcelona and hurling staggering sums of cash at players. And considering we were two (2) weeks away from going out of business in 2009, how the hell would you expect a responsible CEO to behave? I'd say, responsibly, which is how things have panned out, with more signings to come in the summer, when things are not quite as manic and £££ driven Anyway, he's our CEO, so it's our opinions of his dealings that count, not those casting envious glances from 43 miles away.
Personally JWM I'm glad it didn't come off.It would have been a lot of money with no guaranteed return.I think Hooper is probably good but is the SPL any higher standard than your league? I doubt it.BTW as a Thatcher fan you will like "Good housekeeping" i.e.being a senile old Tory skinflint (Mrs T not you)
I agree with you CT! You definately dodged a bullett by not signing him! To be honest though Bechio isn't much better!
They've also signed some African chap they found on you tube so I think we are being a little unfair.
