Making a couple of million quid out of Sigurdsson would've been a good deal, I'd have thought. The problem was porbably not having any targets that we could approach in a short space of time. With Townsend going on loan we'll probably need him as backup for Lennon so I doubt we wanted to be left with the same position we had with VDV going, forcing us to sign Dempsey.
That first chap is nearly as chubby as me. I couldn't last anywhere near 90mins at prem level (maybe 5 mins), so we should probably leave him
I'm not a fan of threads like this. Would prefer a lot more smaller threads about individual subjects rather than a long one as it makes it harder to keep up with whats going on. Just my view though.
But that means tons of threads on nothing but pure paper talk instead of just one judging from the way this window went.

I know but with over 2000 comments in one thread, it's a lot harder to find out what's going on unless we wanna go through pages and pages of posts. Just my opinion though.
TBH I am surprised by your view on this. I think one of the advantages of not606 is that we don't have dozens of repeat threads as we did on old606. The transfer window would block out most other topics if everyone posted their own new article. Keeping it in one place makes sure other topics are there to be seen for people who don't just want to talk transfers.
to be fair spurf, it isn't not606 that stops the dozens of threads; it's the work you, PNP and YV have done on setting an example over repeating topics. Things are merged/closed very quickly which keeps the house in order. you guys have done a great job in making sure everyone knows the "code of conduct" go to QPR's forum and there's about 5 threads on the same subject, which never seem to get merged. It's a mess. what you trying to say KH?... we all bore ya and you don't wanna read through our posts?!
