I don't know so much. Reading what Leicester fans had posted and still post, many seemed to think that was a good performance. What I saw was a team that only just managed to beat a lacklustre Wolves and looked quite beatable.
Yeh we didn't play well. But the question was, "Can Wolves do us a favour?" They lost. So, no they didn't
Not sure about that. I agree we were poor last night with the exception of 1 or 2 players and we rode our luck in the second half. What it showed was that we have individuals with enough talent to win games even when we're not playing well. It may well have been a different story against a better team than Wolves but you beat what's in fornt of you and move on to the next one. Last night was the type of game we'd lost in recent years.
Not even slightly. It wasn't good enough, but we still won (against a side that's not as bad as their league position says, I think they've been poorly managed) while not playing at our best. Teams that get promoted are the ones that win when they've not played well.
I'm not really sure what point you're trying to make. I personally have never claimed we're golactico's, unlike some of the Leicester fans on their recent upward blip.
You just chat **** to fuel your argument. Where have any Leicester fan made any such claim? We would have drew that game (maybe even lost it) a couple of months ago but the way we've performed over the last month has shown we have what it takes to go the distance, it's all very encouraging signs as we protect 2nd place from those below us. That's what City fans have said or along those lines.
We're second on the best form we've been on all season with everyone under us dropping points for fun.
At the risk of prolonging the agony, your form in January has been very good. Your form in December was dog **** (sorry Dutch), and your form over the season as a whole has been inconsistent. I would't count your chickens yet. By the way, that's a lovely picture you drew for OLM, gold star for you .
Whose counting chickens? We're enjoying the run we're on, and there are positive and encouraging signs for the future, which I am very much looking forward to. Please don't translate that to "We are definitely going up "
Nah I heard there are a shed load... I hope they don't escape, I heard a shed load of chickens are impossible to catch
Inconsistent yet we're sat in second place. Just means we've been drawing/losing away while winning just about everything at home. Our results in december were poor but we didn't play that badly on the whole. We thrashed Derby, didn't take chances against Barnsley, deserved to lose against Millwall, deserved to thrash Cardiff, were indifferent against you and were well worth the 3 points at Burnley. Out of the 5 games we won two, lost two and drew one. No surprise that a new striker has solved our problems as I dare say if we'd had him from the start of December we'd be breathing down Cardiff's necks. Nobody's counting any chickens though, unlike some of your fans who said we wouldn't get close to recovering that 7 point lead you had over us. Here we are less than a month later, 3 points above you.
