.... embarassing - have you no pride or shame ........... turned up at QPR yesterday trying to force through a transfer and had to be politely turned away by QPR executuives ... can you imagine the reception he is going to get from Baggies fans?
Odemwingie wahooooooo, Odemwingie wahooooooo, he drove to QPR, was told to stay in his car, Odemwingie wahoooooo Would love to see how he gets on in training at WBA this morning
He turned up for training today (At West Brom's training ground this time) and they "sent him home" until next week to clear his head More like they have suspended the prat until they decide what to do with him Imagine if that was one of our players. We would want him sacked and QPR investigated by the FA to see if they did any wrongdoing and if they did we would want them to be punished. Odemwingie could potentially be sued for breach of contract and if they did anything wrong QPR could be severely punished for another breach of rules.
Shows that he doesn't really want to be at WBA, but think there was some confusion because he said goodbye to all the WBA players and staff, someone must have told him its almost sorted.
In the interests of being fair; probably worth reading this article from the BEEB - he told the Daily Mirror that one of the directors at WBA had told him that a £3.5 m fee had been agreed before he drove down there ... still not very bright of him to try and push it through himself ... but slightly less desperate looking ... the guy is 31 and I suspect worried that he might miss out on his biggest 'pay day' if WBA make him see out his remaining 18 months - he'll be a lot less marketable at 33 .. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/21285926
I still think the FA should look into things at both the WBA and QPR ends to see exactly what went wrong. Was there a breakdown in communcation or did Odemwingie just try and bulldoze the move through. Had the cameras not been there I think QPR would have happily have spoken to him
He's been interviewed this morning and said he doesn't know what all the fuss is about, he didn't have permission from Lokomotic Moscow when he went to West Brom either.
I think it was that. On SSN there was an interview with him in his car last night and he said he went to QPR as he thought the deal needed bumping along (or words to that effect)
Apparently West Brom only found out that he was at Loftus Road when they saw his car pull up in the car park on SSN
Yosser Hughes (not to be confused with Mark Hughes) - and it was Boys From the Black Stuff by Alan Bleasdale
... a Mark Hughes moved from Bury to Accrington Stanley in the transfer window ... well he has been out of work for a while ..
