I'm guessing Fonte is still out, can't see Forren being in yet, so it looks like Maya and Jos again. Given how Wigan play with an extra midfielder I reckon Mauricio will keep the shape of the second half against Man Utd, that means Steve Davis starting. He was not shown in many pictures from Barcelona apart from one standing talking to the coaches...so not apparently in full training at that point. I think Jos has the position at the moment until Forren settles in/improves fitness.

We always think every game is a must win, but there are still a lot of games to go. However, I want to keep out of the danger zone...it took a lot of hard work to get where we are (including those draws with Everton, Chelsea and Arsenal). In many ways we have proved we are a middle of the table team, but just haven't got those valuable 3 points. We don't want to find ourselves at the end of the seaon being the most entertaining team to ever go down. COYR
I think MP might be tempted to start with Steven Davis. He made a difference when he cam on vs Man Utd and it may be wise to keep the team fresh if any of them are feeling it. Shaw and Lallana will obviously come intot eh starting line up but wouldn;t surprise me to see Davis in one fo the two defensive midfield spots (instead of who I don't know!). Rest picks itself, hopefully with Forren on the bench. Is Mayuka back in training yet?
