Great shout Wayward. Looked through that race last night and all I saw was pace, pace, pace so amazed that the front runner ended up winning! Lovely price and well done.

First off Eddie...I'm far from a mug when it comes to race reading, but thats your opinion.

He lost his position down the back before they turned in and imo never travelled like he has done in the past...SDS had to pull out because the horse hadn't the toe today to take the gap that opened up at the 2 marker.

10f would be more the horses trip for a start.

Just my thoughts but little doubt he was the best beast in the race today and I certainly haven't given up on him.

Not saying your a mug dex, I think you showed the other day you are anything but. I dont agree that he lost his place due to anything concerning speed, he simply had nowhere to go, there was no gap, when he eventually got out, he came through to finish 3rd without having anything resembling a race.

Sharestan clocked 1:49:72 practically on the steel in a slowly run race last time, the winner today clocked 1:49:68, with Sharestan in 3rd. I think that categorically confirms that today had nothing to do with Sharestans speed or lack thereof. With a clear run off a decent pace id have Sharestan clocking 1:48 odds, which would be necessary to have any chance of winning the Duty Free.

Fair point Eddie considering those fractions.

I just think he ran a little flat today which considering who he is based with is no surprise...perhaps they're still getting to know the horse even though he looks very straightforward.

As I said he remains a decent prospect and is much better than what he showed today.

What do think about trip?...I think he'll be some tool over 10f.

You might be right, think he is effective at 1m to 1m2, be surprised if he isnt aimed a the 1m1 race.
