I think we should go in for this man, great finisher and is better than Shola.

Still unsure if Gouffran is a out and out striker or will be used more as a winger.

This will also mean we have 3 good strikers and one Mackem slayer (Shola)

He wants to leave, and i would like us to get one over 'arry. (for Remy).

    Your thoughts please.

    love TDD <3

He wants money! Look at the league table - why else would he go from Baggies to QPR?

He's the definition of mercenary, no thank you. He'd be whining about his terms within 6 months.

But he scores goals, and it might be what we need.
I've seen in other threads about if Cisse got injured that would only leave 2 other strikers. Gouffran and Ameobi. (not mentioning Ranger or Campbell).

We may need another good striker. He wants to leave, maybe we could get him in on a loan?

West Brom should be getting rid as he's shown he wants to leave.

He should be left to rot in the reserves at West Brom for the stunt he's pulled.
He may well be knowing their chairman!

Arfur Daley at QPR is as honest as ...
Well, you know what I mean!

He talks about other peoples players (Ba and more) to unsettle them, then pays over the odds.
No coincidence Pompey - and to some degree Southampton - almost went to the wall with over inflated wages for average players!

Agents must be rubbing their hands

Mate you know Odemwingie was about to stroll through the door UNTIL he spoke to SSN. At that moment auld tumour face ordered the troops to charge downstairs and bolt the doors and deny the very existence of the poor bastard standing outside

Locked out of Loftus road! What a mental situation. Who the hell told him to come and then wouldn't even let him in? How rude. Shocking behaviour from both Odemwingie and QPR.

well i think he's a good player, maybe a mercenary. He has something we may need and hopefully we won't.

I do wonder if we will be waiting to January to buy the bulk of players instead of the Summer?

Deal hasn't gone thru but apparently he drove down tp Loftus Rd, gave an interview on SSN which WBA saw and immediately told baggy face ahaae had no permission to speak with him. Result Odemwinge had to turn round and return to West Brom,.
It's believed QPR being reported to FA.
Can you imagine him at training tomorrow, I'd blank him.

Serves him right. Though also smacks of 'Arry's usual tapping up tactics.

i think he is quality but he is 31 now and only wanted to leave WBA for a large packet at QPR because its likely to be his last big contract, fair play to him i say. footballers have short careers they need to make as much as possible, any of us would do the same. i wouldnt want him here because he is blatantly looking for a large wage to retire on and his age means no resale value so mike would never go for it. we do definatly need a back up striker who is happy to warm the bench, i wish we still had best. we dont have any really quality upfront we can bring on to change a game

No no no - you cannot have your playing staff behaving with such treachery and dishonesty. West Brom have been a great employer for that silly boy.
They earn more in a few months than most of us earn in our whole working lives, so if you think they have a short career so anything goes, you will get little agreement from most decent and honest Geordie football fans.

Odemwingie has behaved badly, Clint Dempsey did the same last year trying to force a move to Liverpool, but luckily for him he was bailed out at the last minute by Spurs. Odemwingie has not been so lucky and has been left looking pretty silly, where were the Skanky Agents, someone has misinformed him somewhere, he's hardly just going to turn up there.
I suspect WBA may have just stood their ground, if they have good for them!

I think that this whole affair should be investigated by the FA

    1)
If he has done this on his own then the FA should charge him for bringing the game into disrepute
( F.A. meaning of 'Disrepute' 'to make up whatever they want to charge you with' 'to find something that they want to charge you with'

    2) If the Agent has advised him to go to the doors of QPR to force a move away from W.B.A
then he should be charged and have his 'Agents' license removed

    3) If teflon Harry is involved ....well we'll just sweep it under the mat.... cause he's a luvable bloke and wouldn't do any of that sort of thing,
it was the dog who rang him and organised the meeting, without him knowing

Thanks for entertaining the nation Peter. What a crazy man, his understanding of transfer deals will go down in history. He has behaved very poorly but I find it all rather funny. He now has to rock back up at WBA, that should be fun for him <laugh>
