Id have to agree with you there. I cant see anything negative about a guy donating his wages to charity.
So he went to PSG to play football? http://www.google.com/news?ncl=dVmzpB5S-yXTiIMhMRfm-FgrTSXiM&q=david beckham&lr=English&hl=en His bragging about donating his salary to charity has had the desired effect, the 'playing football' aspect has become secondary as planned.
Beckam's a top player and a great personality, i don't get why there's so much hate on here. I think it's Big deal he's giving off his ENTIRE salary to charity, something i've never heard before. Doesn't matter he goes out and says it to the enitre world, it's still a massive thing to do, props for that.
Actually think its more to head off the "he's traipsing round the world making yet more money off his past performances" This removed that & just makes it about his competitive ego. Which I see nothing wrong with: sign of a winner, always wanting to win one more time. And announcing his association with a charity will raise the profile of said charity. This will help as much if not more than the money he donates. Ask any charity. But its a dull window when a player going to France is the headline lol.

He says: "We should clarify that former Brazil international goalkeeper Doni is leaving Liverpool to join Botafogo of Ribeirao Preto, not the much more famous Botafogo of Rio. "His new club are currently disputing the Sao Paulo state championship, hoping to get back to national fourth division. "Meanwhile, the big transfer news in South America is the return to Argentina on loan of central midfielder Fernando Gago, who has never really come off in Europe, but who was in top form last year for the national team. He leaves Valencia and will spend six months with Velez Sarsfield."
Negredo is in the Sevilla line-up tonight, so that rules out him joining Everton. Hopefully the Damio to Spurs rumors don't materialize
Odemwingie and his agent go to Loftus Rd to discuss a move there with Redknapp without WBA giving him permission, a case of blatant tapping up by 'Arry that should see him in deep **** with the FA. But i doubt it will happen.
****s sake if they do pull that off I'll be gutted...but you've got to credit the spuds for targetting some good players. Bluff won't like this one.
The internacional president has come out a little while ago saying they are in talks with spurs but spurs are miles off the price they want said the haven't bid anywhere near what the media is saying. So hopefully won't happen
Arsenal sign Nacho Monreal for an estimated £8.3m. Interesting that Everton missed out on Fer in the end, and there were no deadline deals for Spurs either. Out of Arsenal, Everton and Spurs the best signing was probably Holtby, Monreal could end up being a bargain depending on whether he can hit the ground running. Also Everton signed John Stones from Barnsley, but I'm assuming he's one for the future.
