Why would Blackburn want a striker on a 3 1/2 year deal who is going to command somewhere in the 25,000 pound range just to sit him on the bench?
I gave up on him after Bruce said there was some trouble getting him to move from London. I'm surprised he's gone to Blackburn, but I'm pretty glad he's not come to us, he would have cost a lot of money and would've wanted a longer deal than is sensible. I'm happy right now to have Elmo and the Egyptians in, would like to see us bring another striker in if there's a chance though.
Puts me in mind of a hotel I stayed in at Aberdeen. They had a sign in the foyer saying 'no Campbells'.
Simple answer is MONEY.!!! DJC like FC driven by greed. I agree. Tell him to sign for Blackburn or fooook off back down south. Like FC, DJ has had his chance. We should move on now to other targets. The fact he headed off to Blackburn should kill the deal IMO. If it all goes wrong over there then tell him to foooook off down south.
apparently waiting a response off Campbell after making a generous offer , however we have other striker targets if he says no !!!!!
That's good to know - could be a long evening - what's the betting we'll sign someone at 10.59pm tonight?
Here ya go BS. David Burns ‏@bbcburnsy #hcafc MD @npdthompson says on @RadioHumberside they have a couple of other striker options if Campbell says no.
How interesting the mood change from when I was mercilessly slated early this morn for saying exactly what he was up to.....
