Now you finally get it. Its what everyone else does to us. Despite the fact that more players have gone out than were got so far. Ferdinand, Faurlin, Campbell, Nelsen, Cisse have gone and weve got in Samba, Remy and Young-Suk but hey, lets all have a go at QPR at buying loads of players when we still need 2 more in to replace the ones that have gone.
The money means nothing. The likes of Remy, Samba, Adel, etc will be off if we are relegated. Adel's transfer fee will offset the loss (if any) made on Remy and Samba ... and the high wages will be gone. That is part of the thinking behind these deals.
Spot on as per Brix and exactly what I've said when defending QPR's spending. In some ways QPR should be admired for their bravery, Villa are almost resigned to relegation and aren't prepared to do anything about it Villa a club that get at least 30k in each week and are former European Champions, not so long ago Villa were title and top 4 contenders. The last window of opportunity and big TV deal was missed by QPR and taken by the likes of Fulham, I think the owners see that and are prepared to take necessary risks. It's better to try and not succeed then not try at all and be left wondering.
Annoys me how fans of other clubs talk as if they're so prudent and would never make signings like this to protect finances....fact is they can't because they have actual debts and their owners don't have deep pockets.
