Apparently Holloway has been on the war path after the game. It seems Alan Lee elbowed somebody at the end of the game. I bet Alex Bruce won't believe it when he hears about it.
I have to say that I was very worried about dropping to 4th tonight, I really didn't think we'd still be in 3rd, but as I posted earlier, this result is irrelevant unless we do our job in every game.
If we lose the next 5 games, then this result is very irrelevant. If we win all our games for the rest of the season, this game is very irrelevant. My point is, if we screw up, then all these results going in our favour, means nothing because we will just start dropping like a stone.
WELL DONE TO THE HUDDERSFIELD TOWN LAST NIGHT. Great result and also helped US. Following on from tuesdays wins by Barnsley and Bristol City over Millwall and Watford, We just need Wolverhampton to do the same @ Festa City tonight for it to be a great week for the Tigers.
I know what you're saying - basically that wining our own games is the priority, but every result our nearest rivals get is relevant. No team ever got promoted without a balance of good results for themselves and lesser results for their main opponents.
I like to see the results go for us, they did the other week, bar Lichester, then we lost to Wednesday.
It didn't click when I saw the fixture earlier in the week, but what a weird day to have a game. One it being the Thursday, but more it being the deadline day. At least when we were playing (Donny?) the other year it was a full set of fixtures rather than just us.
