Am I loseing the plot, what has happened to my beloved R's? Harry boy talks with forked tongue! are we seeing the beginning of the end of our club? the wage bill is through the bloody roof... Remy and Samba £170.000 a week wages and with the rest of the squad most be well over 1/2 mill plus!.......What the hell is going on! we are a small club and always will be, I've got a gnawing gut feeling this is all gonna end in tears!:emoticon-0107-sweat

And Harry will just walk away when it all goes down the pan.

£12.5m is what Anzhi signed him for and he's currently on £100k a week. So journos naturally think we have the same deal....

If the owners are willing to fund the club like this, then we can only go along with it. I'd rather owners equity than bloody bank loans.

if you don't know how can you believe that story?

TF/Amit/PB have all said they would not put the club in danger so i guess they are just splashing the cash. These stories are normally way off the mark.

i reckon it will be about that figure to be fair. concerning, but at least he is actually a decent player rather than Odemwinge for 70k etc etc. Remy on 80k is more worrying, id rather have taken Danny Graham, though it looks like he wants to head back north

Harry knows what he's doing. My son just paid £19.5 million for remy on fifa! Harry got a bargain.
Fifa is so realistic - he's even had boswinga on a free for weeks and no-one will touch him!

If we get relegated with this sort of wage bill I expect things to turn real ****ty real quick. At any stage the owner can feck off and unless he keeps pouring money into the club we will go into administration. Again. If TF, Harry & Phil Beard haven't got water tight contracts guaranteeing get out clauses for the costly players we can end up going down the pan like Pompey.

What happened to running the club as a business?

The only way we can sustain this level of financial outlay is to stay up and progress the stadium move. Little old Loftus Road can't generate enough revenue to make what TF and Harry are doing viable.

We desperately need a quality centre back if we're to have any chance of staying up at all, especially with Nellie now gone. Samba fits the bill perfectly IMHO. We also need a bit of positivity around the place, and last I heard we were debt free. The concerns are understandable, but let's have a bit of faith in Harry and the owners that they know what they're doing here.

Exactly. Some idiot just text the bbc asking why we're paying big salaries to average players when someone like bale is on £70-80k a week?....he wouldn't be on that if he signed for a new club today. Ignorant w**ker.

He will probably be on around £70k a week but when you add on signing on bonus, staying up bonus (if it happens) and the top bonus he could get on the next few seasons with us, then divided by number of weeks of his contract then it'll add up to nearer £100k per week!

I keep hearing we're the next Portsmouth but did they not rack up massive debts to third parties? It's a little different to our situation. We are being funded by the owners, same way as the scum. They have just over double our gate receipts but the majority of their players are on six figure a week salaries are they not? No one ever talks about them going under??? Sure our owners can walk away but someone with the pride of TF and the status of the mittals?!....at worst they'll balance the books, cut their losses and sell, we may just be a small club in the championship again but administration is wide of the mark. My thoughts anyway.

How can we take the money out of the game when it's biggest than religion in the UK? ... It's the new religion and the government is mighty fine with that ...as long as you are home watching Sky drinking cheap booze you won't notice what crimes are taking place ... why should we care ...The footy is live... it's addictive and if you want the full on experience then like a west end show you can even watch it live as real fans at the stadiums are nothing more than extras in teh big picture. QPR wants to be on the this stage why? Hugh amounts of money to be made and a nice hobby to boot which also puts you directly into the spotlight:

    Here's our new theme tune:

For this amount of money he'd better be better than Nelsen.
