I think Downing could make Andre Santos look like Paolo Maldini. Andre Santos is a truly awful defender - he should have done better with Henderson's goal, and he almost cost them the match in injury time with a misplaced pass. After 2-0, we really should have targeted that side of the pitch and we could have been out of sight. Disappointing. Can't see the gif you posted (I think my company firewall is blocking it) but I presume it's the Suarez pass? Remarkable skill and vision. Was extremely impressed with Luis last night because he showed us a different side to him - we know he's brilliant at pressing and fighting for the ball but he had Sagna in his back pocket IMO and some of his long range passing was exception. Of course, I still rather seem him closer to the opposition's goal than ours
