What amazed me was how he was getting up into the last third of the pitch linking up with the attack then back to cover, also his distribution and of course his eye for a goal, a very complete footballer. No B/S with him either, takes a knock like a man unlike that diving **** Giroud, unbelievable actor!

On the opposite side of that Suarez was doing a great job at left back for a while.

New McDermot, and that's high praise. Soon have nurses dodging from piss showers. <whistle>

My last comment referred to Agger, but I just remembered that Carra got belted in the gut after that free kick so the last part also applies to him, 'by the power of grayskull!'

  5. BR reportedly tried to involve him in the Dempsey deal <yikes>

Ya really made up for him and of the 3 "big kenny buys" he was the one who at least looked like he really wanted to be here, to improve, to get better, to be proud to wear the jersey.

What do you think this means for Shelvey as well? He has been MIA for awhile now.

Thought the goal summed up what hendo can bring as well.

Really can't see shelvey becoming a regular and would not be too surprised to see him leave at some point. He would be a good championship player but not quite top notch prem player. He certainly isn't the type of player to inspire us to a top 4 position.
Henderson though could become an important player for us. He has someway to go yet,as he showed Sunday, but he has been very good the last few prem games he's played in and now he's scoring too which is very important.

Glad to see Henderson playing well. We still need a more refined and experienced version of Henderson IMO to take us to Champions League but he's definitely one for the future.

I still stand by my assertion that it is his mentality that will be the biggest obstacle to becoming a great player. Must admit though he does look to have improved in this regard!

He is really making strides now. Lucas, Henderson, Gerrard is by far our best midfield trio. Works a treat I think.

One thing he needs to cut down on is trying to pass too early, he gets in to a lot of space which is great but he needs to learn to run forward more when he finds it rather than trying to chip a 1 in a million ball over the top. Apart from that, proud to have in the team <ok>

Definitely agree with this, and it applies to Downing as well. Our attack really suffers and completely breaks down. We need to be quicker and more direct on the counter.

This. There was one point when he had a clear run ahead of him, but tried a crap chip to Sturridge. He needs to learn to bomb forward in a destructive manner like Gerrard would.

The decision making of the whole attack is generally quite poor really, and I think this is a big difference between us and the top teams. Even Suarez is guilty of it - there was one moment when we nicked the ball from Arsenal and Suarez had to get his head up and square to Sturridge, but went for the nutmeg and won the corner.

Shelvey is even younger isn't he? Still time.

I love the way Agger has a go at players when he gets fouled or they dive.

Yeah, I love a bit of passion. Lucas does the same as well. We need more of that!

Hendo the last 2 months has been awesome, I must admit I always thought he would be a good/reliable LFC player, but Im starting to think the kid may have a little bit of star quality in him too.If Hendo plays regualr to the end of the season he can get 10 goals this season for me

I did laugh yesterday when Ramsey protested his innocence after fouling him and Agger ran up to him and the ref and told them both how it really was <laugh>
