On a serious note and I accept they are the better players we have had - Are you happy that you might soon have 4 ex Leeds players in your team? At the end of the day we have been an average Championship team and we have finished in average positions, I know we love to WU one another on the forums but I fail to see why Norwich fans are happy? Even QPR are splashing out £12m today on a defender, surely your team should be aiming for just a little bit more quality?
Morning all, a big day with small prizes for us as usual I think. Nothing happening here at L/B Airport, but the burgers are nice. Loads mentioned already about Luciano being down in Norwich and we get Morrison and £1m in return. If that comes off I would say its good business, and with the number of players Warnock's moved out, which saves wages as well, we should be able to afford a decent winger as well as Warnock junior if that deals still on. Honesty, Bechhio is a 'maybe' signing for me - he's a very good Championship striker but whether he can make the step uo I don't know. I was chuffed when we signed Johnson and over-the-moon when we signed Snodgrass. Both good players. Not so much with Howson, he's struggled. Overall the players we've bought from you have been good, and why Leeds aren't right up there in the League is a bit of a mystery. You've got a quality side but I wonder if the off-the-field situation has been disruptive to the team (it shouldn't be in my mind). That coupled with the expectations being placed on the players (whereas in Norwich at the moment we'll crack out the open top bus for any excuse) may have led to them underperforming? In general though, I don't know why players at mid-table Leeds seem to outperform expectations at Norwich?
Totally different mindset to play for Leeds or to play for Norwich. they have played under pressure and under high expactations in front of the best away following they will ever play in front of. Going to Norwich would be a step down in terms of expectations and less pressure
