    @gunner.b.alright

    "clam up you divvy" - you felt the need to reply to my observation of the game with this. Grow up, you sad, pathetic child.

    @Others -

    I completely agree our defending cost us and needs to improve - i said it in my post - it's obvious to see so i didn't feel the need to go on about it :p

    But there goals where lucky - how we didn't get rid of the ball for the first goal is beyond me but it was a deflectyion that put it past the keeper. And the second goal (if you go and re-watch it) Henderson goes past Mert, in between him and Santos, mert catches up and makes the tackle well but the ball defelcts off santos shin straight back into the path of Henderson, not just in front of him but in the only position where he could score from as Sagna had closed the space the other side. If you watch it back it is a VERY lucky deflection that gives him the opporunity - don't know what game your watching where Henderson dances past 3 defenders...

    The 2nd was avoidable too. Santos should have won the ball to start with, then Mert panicked and lunged in(something he shouldn't have done), Santos should have shrugged Henderson off the ball, but Ramsey and Santos got unlucky after Ramsey made a fine covering tackle. The first was comedy defending.

    Oh and the Giroud miss from 3 yards - not his fault. Again it's one you need to watch the replay, not only does it come at him through a players leg it takes a slight deflection and coems up off the floor at him, it is behind him high enough that it is comming off the inside of his thigh. Deceptively difficult for him to do anything with that.

    Santos is a mess. He can't even attack properly now. Podolski gave him a stare or two when he did trudge up the field and failed to find an Arsenal player. If Gibbs is out for a while, then we are ****ed.

    Santos was comical. By the end when he 360'd around himself with two Pool players looking to make the run. <doh>

    Gibbs is out for 3 weeks. Better get used to Santos. Meade is injured too apparently, so it's Santos or Verm.

    Santos was terrible today, he looked lazy, uninterested and unfit.

    I had big hopes for him this season as before his injury last season he was playing very well. He has so much talent but just wastes it with stupidity or lazyness or a combination of the two. He needs to put in much more effort or show him the door.

    Rather have Verm at LB. 3 weeks huh? So Gibbs will miss stoke, Sunderland, Blackburn, Munich, and maybe Villa.
    Other than Munich all those games are highly winnable. Not a bad time for him to be injured

    Have to mention again - Credit to Liverpool, they played really well and worked really hard to close us down. They were energetic all night and pressing for every ball. It was a pretty good game from both teams really. I know we're upset because we dropped points, but this game on it's own merits was probably worthy of a draw <ok>

    Good game lads, draw was the right result, although it will feel like a loss for both sides.

    I watched it. He said that it is best not to focus on the nervous play and to focus on the technical and tactical part. He said they are not signing anyone at the moment.

    Liverpool defended well and closed us down well, they put in a good shift. But they didn't move the ball particularly well, where slow in posession and basically hoped Suarez would do something. We where the much better team overall and bar for the comedy moments at the back and a bit of luck and we would have won. It was winnable and the defence should be dissapointed with themselves, everyone forward of the back 4 did well. Oh and Sagna did well.

    We have to at least try to get him. it's not often a world class striker is available.

    Sagna was better today but he still keeps slipping over when he turns sharply, needs to get some new boots

    They usually finish the season strongly so I wouldn't write them off.
