That's pretty much the season over then. Unless we beat City on Sunday (which I highly doubt). Well and truly bottled it.
Like most of us, I would have probably taken a point before the game. Going 2-0 up and conceding two goals in three minutes is extremely annoying. At least Zingy has learnt a lesson...
it was a good game. I felt our midfield tired a little but gerrard did use his brain well to help with wlacott there. I think once we couldn't get close (lucas looked really tired) then htheir passing game worked. Overall we faded, they cme on strong. They are a very good side on the ball and we just couldn't retain it at all once sturridge came off. It was probably the right sub though.... overall at least spurs drew as well eh? I said 6/12 from these 4 games and we beat norwich and drew here so unless we beat city it'll actually be worse.. Mind you both tier goals we could have done better... the first one especially....
What a complete load of utter crap! Arsenal had to turn up at some point in the game and having let the lead slip we dug-in well and were unlucky not to pinch it at the death.
No I didn't, but it would of been nice to have a proper go and be in contention, and personally I thought a win tonight was necessary, the only saving grace is that Spurs drop 2 points too. Ah well, on to City who aren't playing that great themselves at the moment, could be there for the taking.
I don't like to say I told you so.... But I did predict a 2-2 draw with Suarez scoring in the prediction thread If this game doesn't prove we need another versatile defender and a big strong CM (Diame?) then I don't know what BR is watching.
The the back line seriously needs to grow some ****ing balls, the moment we were 2 up they were ****ting their pants. Terrible and embarrassing to giveaway a 2 goal lead in less than 5mins. Definitely should have won this one, the shaky back line cost us another game.
At least Wenger looked extremely annoyed. He can feel his Champions League qualification bonus slipping away from him.
Season over for me too. Not gunning for 4th, I mean any chance of Europe next season. A loss on Sunday will all but confirm this dreadful season.
I am a bit concerned I'm running away with the league.. 17 points clear now I'm never that lucky when I put money on it though
