    When he was at Blackburn he had Arsenal/Spurs and other big clubs interested in him, but he went to Russia for the money.

    You can;t really talk to us now about spending too much!? This is getting ridiculous! I know it's £12.5 mil compared to the... well.... more millions we spend but one club is fighting relegation and the other had aimed to challenge for all trophies available!

    I'm just glad we have played you twice because I can see 'Arry getting you out of this mess

    @david_conn: Chris Samba advisor: #qpr won't pay same wages as Anzhi but Samba gets to play in PL and be closer to his family, who still live in England.

    Blackburn were in the **** even with Samba playing, before he left/went AWOL. I'm not sure he's going to be the answer to our prayers that many think and I don't know where his motivation will come from. Onuoha would do just as well if not better at centre back I reckon.

    Decent defender but not a world beater like some on here seem to think imo.
