I'm actually looking forward to this season. The World Cup was alright but it just wasn't as exciting as others. Sick of people saying how good a host South Africa was just because everyone expected mass rape and robbery which never happened doesn't make the WC any good. Huns are skint, Lennon's got ginger baws, Hibs will play good football but still have Sol Bamba as a centre back, Jim Jefferies will end up having a heart attack, Aberdeen will be ****e as usual that 4-0 was a fluke. The rest are pish and not worth mentioning....apart from Skeletor and his assistant at Motherwell....we should have a sweeper on when Craig Brown will die.
Aye, there were about 10 good games. The rest were boring, I hate this continental 1 up-front with two winger/strikers formation it's ****ing boring unless you've got a Messi or Ronaldo in your team. We've got to watch ****e like Fortune, Lafferty and Riordan trying to do their best Ronaldo impressions in that type of formation. Anyone watch the Man Utd/Newcastle game last night? Why does Levein want that Andy Carrol for Scotland? He's worse than Iwelumo.
nah big carrol is awrite. he was up front alone against man u. not much chance of doin well at old trafford on ur own altho he shuda scored a heeder 1st half
I saw him a few times last season and for me he's a really **** and tall version of Kris Boyd. At least Boyd can score free-kicks and with his feet. That Carrol stands in the box waiting for the ball to come to his napper. He's not even that great at hold-up play either. Scotland don't need any more big lumps to hoof the ball to up-front we need to put a poacher like Boyd in the team against the likes of Lithuania. Monster Munch scores for fun against teams like that.
