I think he can maybe do that. The question for me though is, will Levy back him with the cash needed to buy the missing pieces of the puzzle?
I hope he doesn't make the mistake of opening his mouth and predicting a win for us on Sunday, that's the best way to lose a match. Just keep that hole under your nose closed Andre.
I've just watched a five minute emission on AVB on CNN. They're calling him the leader of a new breed of dynamic young coaches who can bring a lot to the PL. They showed him in a gym teaching kids how to play and saying things like "Always keep the ball close to you so that you can stop easily and quickly." The kids were taking a huge amount of notice of him and he looked very relaxed. He doesn't care about player statistics and is happy at the way things are going at Spurs and CNN were praising his efforts and management style. I can't remember what he said about his priorities in man management but CNN stated at the end exactly what this thread states at the beginning of it,that he's learnt from his mistakes. When it repeats I'll tell you more.
It's on now. Pl driven by emotion. Might not finish where we want. Very competitive. Wants the league title. A lot of pressure. Works for Loreas a charity. Human leader not a tactical manager. Alex Thomas CNN London.
Just wish that it would be followed up by an article like... Levy admits to past mistakes and looks to have learned from them.
It's still too early to make an accurate assessment of AVB as he hasn't had a full season but my early fairly solid...ish impression is that he is more of a man for the league than the cups. We capitulated too easily in the cups this year but in the league we are solid. I hope we give a better performance next season in them as I'm sure he'll be with us.
Also he lost the dressing room at the Kremlin . You're right G10 (nice to see you back) there were a few cock up's with team selection. In a perfect world it would be nice to see AVB backed by the club with players he wants, not cheaper half measures .
The right thing happened when he lost his job at Chelsea. There's a report that Benitez hasn't spoken to RA for three weeks which is a bad but also a very immature childish sign. Who wants to work for a prat like that? Thanks for coming Senor.....gracias.
