Does anyone have a clue how long the work permits would take to come through if we got both of them by tomorrow? Would there be any chance of playing either of them at the weekend?
To play on Saturday, we have to have them registered by noon Friday, but I've idea how long it takes to get a permit.
they have to be registered by 11.59pm on thursday to play at all for us this season. think it takes a day or two so long as theres no complications.
Indeed, they could sign for us on Thursday, subject to work permit, but they'd need the permission to be granted before noon on Friday, to be able to play for us on Saturday.
Have they actually signed on loan then or not? Other than guess work, I haven't seen anything that says we have signed them?
Has burnsy tweeted anything about it today, I carnt understand why no one else especially blunderside haven't mentioned it in their sports bulletins
KingFut.com ‏@King_Fut EXCLUSIVE: Al-Ahly duo Gedo & Fathi are on the verge of sealing loans to #HCAFC, pending final approval & work permits. http://www.kingfut.com/2013/01/29/exclusive-hull-on-the-verge-of-landing-al-ahly-duo-fathi-and-gedo/ … Latest tweet 2minutes ago
I believe that the work permit has to be granted in order to register the player, so in effect no work permit by 11.59pm thursday, no player.
Not really followed this one. What sort of level of games have they been playing at since it states that Al Ahly haven't been playing in domestic competition. Are they match ready?
midnight. The transfer window only shuts earlier if the last day of the month is a non working day, in which case the deadline gets put back to the next working day and the cut off time moves to 5pm I think it is (not 100% about the time, 5pm rings a bell).
what's the point in that? give the sad bastards who stay up watching sky sports news an extra hour in bed?
