All i am trying to say is if he had picked a bad side and we had better players available then ok hes wrong and deserved criticism 1.That was the only fit 11 we had. 2. The players came back on the pitch and got booed so what does Gyan think! does he say **** this im off the fans don't appreciate anything. 3. Wellbeck must be thinking im not coming back here even if Manu don't want me. 4. We had young lads out there making there first appearances what does it do for their confidence. Fans are too fickle Would you like Quinn and Short to go if they back Bruce again. Would you like Gold or Bloody Sullivan here bet West Ham supporters wish they Did'nt have them Or maybe Blackburns owners who no **** all about football. Seasons over and not finished as well as we hoped and yes Bruce could have done a lot better next season is his last chance unless Quinn decides on a change and ill back what ever Quinn and Short decide
totally agree with this, he very rarely puts a foot wrong, has an excellent first touch and seems to have time on the ball and a good positional understanding of players around him. He's been very impressive since his first team starts for me.
1.That was the only fit 11 we had. 8 international players,1player with 21 u21 caps,1 player with approx 400 club appearances and next to nowt for Colback. No excuses please.
So how do you know I'm wrong then? I don't know if I'm right and you don't know if I'm wrong. Okay then for your peace of mind mate I'll amend it to say that "in my opinion Quinn is a figurehead who has no power whatsoever over hirings or firings". Seeing as you got a bit upset at that maybe you condone the grief he apparently got from our own fans.
Only one getting upset is you mate. You made a statement that I'd not heard before. I genuinely asked if you knew for sure. You got stroppy.
If you're prepared to tolerate bad pints, poor srvice in resturaunts etc then fine but iI don't. For me football is an expensive luxury and I expect value for money. We were dead lucky last week. The buck stops at Bruce's door. End of story.
When are you lot going to wake up? I'm no Bruce lover but it was a board decision to sell Bent and not bring in forward cover and to wait from Jan to April for things to improve! Quinn's 'despise comments' were his alone and have contributed to our demise. Disgraceful. By the way, I am still waiting for an apology Niall. Perhaps the comments should be 'sack the board' more than sack Bruce. Trouble is it's sacrilege to criticise Quinn - not healthy.
Mate if you ever die and go to heaven i hope god gives you the chance to come back as a sunderland bulldog, cos if you did i would buy you or rescue you from the kennels as a truer wonderful partner there would never be, Brucie doesn't deserve loyalty like you. im upping your rep power wonderful supporter, you deserve better.
repped you for that. Well said, Quinn and Short are only human, sometimes on here i think some fans think they are godlike. I dont agree with booing Quinn, but to put him on a pedastel where he cant do no wrong is just crazy.
I'm no lover of Bruce, but at least the board have us in the prem and intend to keep us their, so in my eyes its job well done, whilst I'm disappointed with how the seasons gone, i know the board will be also, and will put the wheels in motion to make next season a lot better,
half time Team talk must be Howard Wilkinsonesque. Sorry for mentioning that name but yesterday was a repeat of the Fulham game, OK 1st half w*nk 2nd half. MM brought 1 player on at half time and controlled it. SB, as is the norm, changed it at 70 mins regardless of whether it should have been earlier or not at all. Bugger. Pleased MM may have kept Wolves up tho.
