I love a bit of optimism but CJ View attachment 21076 and seamange have us staying up already.

Send me over some of what they are drinking

    Drunken Dead.jpg

Its good to be positive and blimey the atmosphere was soooo dismal under Mcghee in the final few weeks we need some enjoyment.

Fridays game from a confidence booster is a View attachment 21077 .My humble view from the terraces is that its still going to be a bumpy ride View attachment 21074 so lets be cool steady not get carried away with recent results and take it one game at a time.

Lets especially not give our noisy neighbours any chance to stick it to us.

Remember games in hand aside we still occupy one of the relegation spots and our form at home is not the best in fact our defence at home over the last 6 games we sit at 24th without a clean sheet.

The positives are the recent results our loan signings Bill McCrystal and JJ, which has stiffened up the spine of the team.

Lets enjoy the ride but not get too

i do feel confident in staying up. im more positive due to how the players are fighting for each other and for their lives. they are showing passion and you can tell they are enjoying football again. we got our rovers back. we by no means the finished article but o'toole staying on has greatly improved our chances and if we keep doing what were doing then we will be just fine. as long as ward stays away from putting defenders up front and centre backs on the wing etc, we will be fine :)

of course 1 game at a time but how things have gone in wards 5 games so far in charge has given me the confidence to be positive about our situation and the feel good factor of our stadium. premature, maybe!

im not saying we will stay up 100%. im saying ward has done wonders so far and got the players playing with fight/passion and giving 100%. he has brought back a feel good factor. the signing of o'toole for the next to months is massive and could be the difference of staying up or not. im much more confident in staying up and looking very positive on things. but anything can happen. the other sides are hitting form too. we could get more injuries. anything could happen so its not a done deal, i know that. my feet are firmly on the ground but im confident and positive on things.

I'm in the optimistic camp at the moment. The fact is we got back to back away wins against playoff contenders, if it was pretty or not is of no concern. JW has managed to bring a togetherness to the squad and I think the lads will stand up and be counted.

Just a healthy reality check P49 hard not to be more confident under Wards management and recent run of results<ok>

Agree CJ that the atmosphere, additional players, formation and tactics are paying off, just need to continue p[icking up those points and move back up the table..
