Now the home games are all done, how would you score SB's performance this season? Dodgy start, excellent recovery, fantastic win at Chelsea, awful derby performances, huge injury problem, terrible finish. It's 5/10 from me.
6/10 - progress as he gave us expectations, however failed to deliver due tactics, injuries & the sale of Bent
3/10 Finishing below the scum and getting hammered away and scraping a draw at home, unacceptable for me.
4/10 Getting beat home and away by two teams in the bottom 3/4, losing 5-1 at sidjames.com and just about managing a draw at SOL, poor away displays yet again and now the poor displays as most predicted have filtered into the home games, the cup games least said the better, yet another team building season ahead of us, poor tactics if any at all, baffling subs and the endless excuses for poor displays. He's lucky to get 4 if I'm honest.
5/10 Good points was the way we played against the Top sides Poor against the promoted sides and the bottom half teams Poor Cup runs Poor Derby games Has been hit with the biggest injury list i have known The biggest dissappointment for me is having to rebuild we should have had a settled side after 2 years with only having to make a couple of signings.
9/10 from me, performed his duties ammicably, but he ****ed up at the SOL and we only got a point. Still though one of the most decorated agents Newcastle has ever seen.
6/10, without the injury crisis we probably would have been comfortably top 10. We could have done better, but we could have done a whole lot worse as well.
my realistic targets this season in order of importance top 10 finish 4/10 good cup run 0/10 bring in "next level" players 6/10 finish above the scum 4/10 do well in derbys against already mentioned scum 0/10 14/50 so its a generous 3/10
Can't believe that injury list, and I do believe it was the 'club' who sold Bent - Not Bruce. 5/10 from me.
bit like one of my old school repots. bruce has a lot of potential, sometimes is easily distracted by what's going on around him, i'm sure if he puts his mind to it, he will go far so i'm giving him 5/10 and hope to see an improvement in next years report..
6/10 You were great up until Christmas. Whoever sold Bent needs to go. Without him you have no goals.
Without doubt, it was the turning point in our season and the inability to sign a striker as cover for the gap in our forward line was unforgivable. The heirarchy of the club gambled and failed miserably.
If I was askunk I would rate him high, but I am not so fairly low 3/4 when the going got tough, he didn't
