Balotelli may not have played for Liverpool Football Club, but this guy has provided some real entertainment and talking points over the last few years. Balotelli, I hope to see you in English Football again some time. The money, the jokes, the car, the fireworks, the fight and the slogan. You have to admit it, you will all miss him to. please log in to view this image please log in to view this image please log in to view this image please log in to view this image please log in to view this image please log in to view this image please log in to view this image please log in to view this image Fair well Mario.
you forgot the bib.... I'll not miss him cos unlike some players he didn't amaze o nthe pitch.... someone like aguero or silva or zola or even conaldo amaze on the pitch. No manc will admit they'd miss suarez just cos he winds them up or does an amazing thing... but they will.... for me badontelly was a nonentity of a footballer.
I won't miss the player as I don't rate him. His antics are funny but since this countries media seem to love him so much I am sure we will continue to hear about what he gets up to. Aka, Mourinho!
it is all about entertainment isn't it i suppose. most of his antics were undesirable and if it was wwe wrestling fine but in real life you don't really want guys shooting firework and not ebing able to put a bib on do you?
Plus, you don't know which antics to believe either. Heard one the other day that he was filling up his car and paid for everyone on the forecourt at the time???
I think he is very talented, Just needs to put his head in to it. He did a really good job in the Euros and i don't know what others think, but i'd honestly miss the fella. He's about my age, so i see the funny side of his antics, at times a bit too extreme, nevertheless still funny. He had the money and lived the carefree life and i wouldn't blame the fella. Maybe he wasn't Properly managed at City or maybe he just can't be managed at all, but this move should probably help him restart his career.
They were talking about Mario on TalkSport during my drive home. They pointed out that he's been with two clubs (Inter and Man City) where he has won Serie A three times, the Italian Cup, a Premier League, the FA Cup and a Champions League yet he is still only 22 years old (DOB: 12 August 1990). That's got to give him an ego boost surely...? Maybe going to Milan who aren't as good as they once were will be a good thing for his career. It might make him appreciate what he has a little more.
No good riddance ,not as good as he thinks he is. Arrogance is one thing in the worlds best players but in someone who is second rate it looks just plain foolish . Should take a leaf out of messi's book.
Not sure on him. I liked his antics early on but then he did do a few things which were irritating. Wouldn't be surprised if United signed him in a few years time.
Man Utd should be worried that City have got rid of one of the players that was really letting them down and costing them games when he was played.
For me he's an example of whats wrong with the modern footballer, he's a reality TV star with footballing ability who appears more interested in his off the field headlines than his on the pitch play. In short I won't miss him and whilst Man City fans will have fond memories of him, if they get a decent replacement for him, who does the job on the pitch and is not a distraction of it, then it'll be a case of "Mario Who" in a season or two's time!
Considering how much trouble he was I think City got a good price for him - just a £2.5m loss if they get paid the add-ons, and his penalties were worth that.
Agreed. I really don't understand why he's getting SO much coverage either. The BBC have uploaded his interview with Noel Gallagher, uploaded a video of his goal against Germany, dedicated two blogs into discussing him and his abilities, their whole live text coverage of tonight's football started with about 5 of the first 6 updates being about Balotelli PLUS there's the standard article about the transfer to AC Milan. What is the reason for all this media coverage, you'd think Man City had lost their best player and top scorer by the way they are going on about him.
