I will mock up some previews as to how they will look if they were on the website, things like the white fade and forums buttons might change peoples decision

I see that the portman road street sign would need to be a bit bolder (or moved up out of the white zone) to really be noticed on Wellys design.
Other than that I think they all look great actually.

Have you not made a decision yet then JWM?
It's unlike you to sit on the fence <laugh>

Any banner that contains a picture of Mick McCarthy would definately sway me! <whistle>

Yeah that's what I was thinking, would be difficult though purely because the sign is white

JWM I put McCarthy in originally, but decided I should take him out as he has only been around a few months... hopefully he will become a town legend though!

But the letters themselves would be more clearly visible.

Looks like Wellys banner has just creeped in front, should we call an end soon? I would hate to go through all this and then not be able to get the banner updated!

    Maybe another day or 2?

We've got 7, 7 and 8, I don't think you can call it a day as soon as one creeps in front by a vote... what would be interesting is to see whether there are any rogue Canary votes or votes from waifs and strays. I think San Diego will be able to see who's voted for what?

Hampy, if it's an open vote, anyone can check! Just click on the number of votes for one of the options then all who voted will be listed under it!

    <ok>

This is exactly what I was trying to avoid by having a closed poll. Rogue votes are easily cast, an open vote means anyone can see who voted for what but after my suggestion of just having everyone post their choice a few people opted for an anonymous vote. I didn't want to mention rogue voting before so as not to draw attention to it. Unfortunately a closed vote means that not even the poll creator can see the casters choices and so we are where we are.
My resolution would be to have people verify their choice with a post on here and count it up from there but I don't want to make people feel uncomfortable by revealing who they chose.
It's either that or scrap this vote and create a new open poll with a four or five day limit, which would mean your choice would be public anyway.

Weighty was right, dictatorship is better <laugh>.
Should've just done it my way in the first place. I knew this would happen and that problems may arise.

Oh FFS! I'm all for democracy but can we just bloody well get on with it! <steam>

HS2 will be completed before we see a banner up on our board!

It makes you wonder if Simon Clegg is organising this with the time its taking! <laugh>
