McShane has been on fire recently, where as chester has been quite dire, looking well off it atm. He could do with a rest. I'd stick him in with McShane but for a pair of center backs in a division like this our defence would be seriously lacking in height.

I've been told QPR will let @RealDJCampbell leave Loftus Road, Crystal Palace and Hull are being strongly linked with him & I expect

That sounds a bit like the source could be a slightly worried agent to me. I wonder whether the Campbell camp are starting to panic that they've been too greedy for their own good and now they're seeing interest in their man waning?

The Allams have stood firm and should be applauded. There is no way we should agree to such a large contract for DJ. Hopefully they\SB have something up their sleeves.

Think we need to move on now. JD Campbell will follow the money trail, and that won't lead him here.

Bugs Bunny would be good at headers, if his performance in Space Jam is anything to go by.

He's fine, as long as he only has to play himself, he was pretty good in Harry Brown(I thought both him and Ray Winstone were a bit hammy in The Sweeney).

Surely anyone can succeed at playing themselves? <laugh>

To be fair he was alright in Harry Brown, The Sweeney was the latest film I saw him in and I thought he was awful in that.

    Tongue in cheek comment.

I was more surprised with Ray Winstone in The Sweeney, he's normally brilliant in everything, but I thought he went a bit over the top on this one.

That was a bit weird, obviously supposed to be his demons, but I'm not it actually added anything.

    Brilliant film though.

Yeh I thought it was like the life he was trying to leave behind. Wasn't it buried with whoever Ben Kingsleys character was at the end?

Ray Winstone has just been the same character throughout his 'acting' career in my opinion.

There's a fair few of them getting money for old rope. I reckon a good actor should only let you see the character they're playing, not remind you of everything else they've ever done. I'd call David Jason a good example of a good actor. Delboy doesn't make me think of Frost nor vice versa.
