    Morning mate.
I think the French lads are attracted by our good reputation in France.
The way we dealt with Ben Arfa's injury and stood by him really helped our PR.
By and large the French clubs are also more willing to sell to us because we are fair with them also, in most cases paying cash up front (always a good thing in a recession).

Another good post koki13, you could add the good looking Geordie Girls to your list of attractions.

The plural of Typo is Typos. The apostrophe you've added is possessive making it "of Typo" rather than more than one <ok>

Bespoke, aka The Strawberry Drinker and several other alias's has always been known as a bit of a spell checker and punctuation freak.

I once had the displeasure to be behind him at a West Ham game when he let a wet one go, yuk, never ever been anywhere near anybody that dropped one as bad as that. Wouldn't like to have to wash his shorts, that's for sure.

Not necessarilly. Typo is a contraction for typographical error. An apostrophe can be used to indicate the presence of missing letters, as with can't (to distinguish it from cant, meaning a self serving hypocritical assertion)

I'd accept this argument if the common singular included the apostrophe (typo',) but it doesn't.

hmm, interesting point, and on a subject close to my heart.

I've only recently stopped using 'til, and started using the bastard wordling till (a perfectly respectable word when used to mean part of the steering mecahnism of a ship, but bearing no conceivable relation to "until"). I eventually decided that there was only so much of a finite lifetime that could usefully be spent explaining the correct spelling and linguistical derivation of the shortened term to people who:

    a. couldn't understand,

    b. didn't care, and

    c. had lives.

I completely agree with what you've put, but it's always a shame when people give up on grammar. I don't understand why spelling and punctuating correctly are frowned upon by society and the Internet in particular.

Right, back to footballing matters; I feel the French come here because we've launched a couple of them (namely Cabaye) to the national stage, and most players want to represent their national team.

Also, having a load of people that you have things in common with when moving to a new place is always a big help. <ok>

Yes, if you're a French player wanting to settle in the Prem or possibly do a Demba (that is, move on from us to a Champions League team), Newcastle would look attractive, as opposed to a club where the risks of failing to settle, and thus having to return to France with your tail between your legs, would be higher

You're doing fine koki13 and it seems of everybody using the forum there's only one person that hasn't got the common sense to appreciate your efforts. You just keep up the good work, we're always pleased to hear from you.
