    Morning Everyone,

Warnock is set to raid the Royals to recruit yet another former player, Latvian defender Kaspars Gorkss from Reading.

The Latvia captain had an impressive debut season for the Royals after his 2011 switch from Queens Park Rangers, in which he was almost ever present as they claimed the Championship title. Not surpringing really, though I would have prefereed to get Stephen Warnock, who now looks like he is set to go back on loan to Bolton.

Warnock appears to have settled on 6ft 4in Habibou. The huge Central African Republic powerhouse has a French passport holder which should help eliminate him get a job permit. The 25-year old has scored 20 goals in 57 appearances for his Belgian League club, including six in 13 this season, and has a reputation for being a fearsome physical presence as an attacking spearhead. A fee of around 1.5 - 2.0m europs has been touted about.

Becchio is set to move to a top Turkish team. Nothing like rubbing salt into the wound, eh!!!

Warnock has hit out at Leeds fans (and Yorkshire folk) :-

“But in Leeds the glass is always half empty. It’s never half full. That might be a Yorkshire trait.”

I'm not from Yorkshire, but that bloody angers me. Neil, I for one, am sick to my back teeth with the club selling their best players every single year. You (and the club) havew shown very little ambition, wehilst the fans (in their majority) have done their part by staying local, and have travelled the lengths of the Country in their droves to support the Whites. In return we are lied to. We are told :- The days of us selling our best players are in the past. YOU SAID THAT ONE MONTH AGO!!!

Max has come out and said he would not rejoin us in the Championship. Why would he???

He did not rule out a move back to Elland Road in the future though

    Elland :emoticon-0150-hands Morning all.

Gorks is a great player and experienced. I heard an interview with him last season on 5-live and he came over as a top bloke. After the interview the guys on the panel were raving about his positional play, his distribution, fearless battler and control. Sounds like a good buy if it comes off.

Only a couple of days to go as I'm sick of living in hope AGAIN. As for Warnock and his gob, yes he's a bit Marmite isn't he. You either love him or hate him, but as Leeds fans we actually have to put up with him on a daily basis, and right now he talks a good game but can't do it on the field in the league. Over-hyped I'm starting to think.

Come on GFH show us what we can expect going forward

Morning Elland, morning those joining. I'll believe Becchio going to a top Turkish team when it happens. He probably knows about why this would upset our fans, especially if it turned out to be Galatasary. But as I say, I'll believe it when I see it. I also think that such sides would probably have to offer markedly more than anyone else to help placate the fans. If GFH don't know the history, you can be sure Haigh does.

I can understand the glass half empty trait. Mine, as has been demonstrated on a regular basis, is invariably half full. But to read some of the comments on here & on the more depressing other site, HALF empty would be a good day. More likely three quarters empty.

Morning all - You sum it up pretty well Elland, can't understand the Gorkss signing, from what I have read about him he is past his best, slower than a snail and not that good. Reading a team looking like relegation fodder, conceding goals for fun and he can't make the team, I too will reserve judgement, I am concerned that I am reading more he is rubbish reports/opinions than positive. Who will be left out to accommodate him, will the balance be thrown out with Peltier pushed to LB again?

Habibou a complete gamble compared to Becchio who we know scores goals, yes his hold up play might be poor but he does get us 20 goals plus a season, I can't understand why take this gamble at a point of the season where we should be holding on to players like Becchio and also signing Habibou and giving him time to settle, not expecting him to hit the ground running.

A few months ago the prospective new owners and Warnock were willing to allow Snoddy to run his contract down, they were willing to let him go now in January if we did not look like gaining promotion, they did a lot in an attempt to keep him. Now with Becchio it is pure ****e coming out of everyone at the top downs mouths.

Morning all. I think what Max is saying is he won't swap CL football league football and return to Leeds, which he loves, and why should he. By saying he's not ruling it out in the future, I think he's saying if we ever qualify for the CL and can match his wages then he might return.
Boggers, I don't know anyone here with their glass half empty. We haven't had anything in our glasses for eight years now

I can understand that as he was a decent player when you were in League 1 and awaiting your return makes sense. <ok>

Warnock has also praised Varney's performance on Sunday and mentioned that he's had problems with a small minority of the home crowd. Perhaps, Neil, that's because 99% of the time he plays for us he is UTTER ****E.

Great to see us in for a 31 year old defender who is unwanted by a relegation threatened PL team. Great ambition there too lads.

    I think I need a strong coffee...

More deadwood gone. Every one of these waste of space players that leaves is a bonus. How some of these guys managed to pull the wool over bates and graysons eyes to get contracts is a complete mystery. Probably another half dozen that needs shifting. Could offer them as a job lot to Norwich, they need new players worse than us now

"Sky Sports understand that West Ham have made a late offer for Leeds target Stephen Warnock - Leeds may still have the upper hand however as the deal they are proposing is for 3 seasons."

Why would you offer a 31 year old a 3 year deal?? Gobsmacked!!

Warnock? Left back?? Where would we play him???

Or are we simply warming the LB seat on the bench whilst Drury's injured?
