http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...sin-furious-bust-FA-Cup-defeat-EXCLUSIVE.html On the plus side, the Chris Samba rumour is circulating again.
Errrrrrr yeah...... we need to make it illegal in the UK to print straight up tabloid speculation and lies. We may create a better country just by doing that Nice to see Luke Young all smiles and training though
Christ on a bike! You seem to get treated worse for following QPR than you do for following the Tory party of late. What on earth is happening to our magnificent little club. We don't deserve this.
Brilliant journalism! Sources claim the row on Saturday erupted the moment the players returned to the dressing room, with players responding angrily to having their application and desire questioned. That led to a furious exchange between two players in particular but others took sides. Although some players feared it could get physical, others kept them apart. Redknapp had already left the dressing room and on Monday his focus was on the madness of the January transfer window. Harry was in the dressing room for less than a moment, apparently!
Totally this. I'd be much more worried if they took the defeat laughing and joking. Shame they couldn't show that passion on the pitch but there you go....
My money is on Mackie and Granero here. Mackie was the last off the pitch staying on to thank fans / congratulate MK. Granero had given his shirt away, so was off early. I can envisage Mackie knackered whilst the G Man is there reciting poetry reflecting on the lack of movement and support.
What a pity Mackie didn't have the sense to work out how to get into the right spaces and receive passes from Granero. Then all his efforts might have been effective. Jamie didn't have a good day on Saturday, despite all his running around. I do hope the rumours of his departure are incorrect, mind... He's had better days and he will have them again. I'm happy to see him in hoops.
Its because we are good for news. We are a London club and most press is based there/Harry Redknapp/TF/Mittals/Billionaires and PB is a good media man. TF is a media whore in F1/airlines and the press love him. Compare him to that boring bloke at Reading? All i ever hear on radio/Tv or read on net is QPR. You can see why other fans want us to fail. Who cares about Wigan/Reading/Stoke/Sunderland/WBA and co? No one other than their own fans. Other than the top 4/5 we get record figures (tredding on twitter). We are now a world known team (brand). Add all that together and you get negitive press
http://www.express.co.uk/posts/view/344906/Esteban-Granero-is-ready-to-board Granero, an U21 international who is also deep into studying psychology, holds nothing back on a whole range of issues. For instance he recites poetry with his pants off in front of his team-mates. “Making fun of yourself makes you more human and helps others get closer to you. A therapy that allows you to get closer to your team-mates by making fun of yourself is important,” he claims.
100% with you two here. The day teams take a loss like that lying down is the day there's no hope. Passion and players having pride in their performance is something I'd want to see as a fan. As for Ellers point, there are many reasons why I believe QPR are subjected to such bitter journalism. Whilst we embrace capitalist principles, there is an underlying jealousy of seeing people who want to better themselves, it's similar with football only I believe there is an anti-London element. Whilst Fleet Street is in London you'd find the majority of big time journalists are North and those that earnt tend to be from middle class families whereby there is a culture of the wealthy protecting the wealthy. QPR are a club that are on the up (regardless of what happens this season) and that annoys the hell out of people that support United, Arsenal, Liverpool, Leeds, West Ham, Spurs (majority of journalists support those clubs) and even Chelsea to a degree. Southampton spend £32m and nobody bats an eyelid. Had Ramirez chosen QPR over Liverpool and cited money as the reason (as he did with Southampton) there would have been a huge outcry and comments of how the game has gone downhill etc
