New Banner Vote

I would like to say a big well done to Wrighty and The Welly Family for the fantastic banners they have created. A shame we can only use one but it was great to see the different designs.
Votes will be cast on the above poll but you can add a comment to validate or explain your choice if you wish.

 

I went for Wrightys final design.
It includes some great photos that stir many wonderful memories. I believe some of the images were from Hampys library so that was a contributing factor too.

 

When is the voting going to end?? Could probably do with a few days as some log on only every few days!!

 

Agreed ptc but I don't want to wait too long as I'm trying to get in whilst there is still a sticky about banners on the mod board. I didn't set a time limit on the poll. If it looks to be a landslide one way or the other that could be a deciding factor too.

 

San Diego, there are only really three choices here, which version of the third one could be decided if that one wins. Before we get stuck in are you able to change the options?

 

I don't think so, I can edit the OP but can't see a way to adjust the poll itself. If anyone knows how to then please let me know. I think we'll just have to cross that bridge when we come to it. Besides, I see it as four choices anyway and number of votes cast will be the deciding factor.

 

Maybe worry about it if there are more votes for the two combined than one of the other options.

All have there merits and very well done to all involved. But it was 1 that instantly got me.

 

I just want to add all the banners will have gaps around the edge, I wasn't just being lazy with banner #2!

Well, it's a draw so does that mean we stick with the grass?

Perhaps another vote with the bottom 2 options removed? It also might be better to show the banners how they would appear on the webpage? (i.e. http://img831.imageshack.us/img831/2977/bannerpreview.png)

 

Cant we keep the current grass. It doesnt show how far we have fallen!

 

Too true, but then I think it would be nice to remind ourselves every now and again that this club (at stages in some peoples lives) have been a massive success and we can be proud of what we once were (and forget just how bad we currently are)

Unfortunately I'm not old enough to be too nostalgic but I enjoy a good bit of nostalgia thinking of the likes of Marcus Stewart, Reuser & Wilnis

 

Maybe I spoke too soon, the votes are still coming in.. one more for the bottom 2 and it would be a three-way tie! Quite a nice result

Wrighty..first brilliant effort by all those who made this happen. I think I have boobed,as clicked on all to see what they looked like...and then to see the results, as of course it meant I voted for them all...idiot! I prefer the last 2 for many reasons aside from the rather ancient pic of Sir Bobby. Great content, nice to see the real history, dates, the cups...the glory days! So, last 2 ( presume exactly the same) get my vote.

Southcoast, don't worry, you can't cast multiple votes. In fact look at the top right corner of the poll next to the number of voters to see if you have actually voted or not, it should say "you have already voted on this poll" Maybe you still have a deciding vote to cast.
