It was all part of the plan lads, don't worry http://www.thedailymash.co.uk/sport...t-all-part-of-plan-says-rodgers-2013012857530
Rodgers added: “The eagle cannot consider the fears of the rabbit.” It is wise for the eagle to consider the fear of gunman The fear of supporters and John Henry is the begining of wisdom.

Are they though? By what metric? Roy was fighting just above relegation. Rodgers has established us as a mediocre mid-table team. Not calling Rodgers a success but how do we call him worse? Fyi... not saying you are wrong... just surprised and curious how he could be worse than Roy. Rodgers actually did something thought he never would do... he actually admitted it was a dissapointing performance? Both Rodgers and Roy always complemented failure.
A little reminder of Roy's stats: 1) First loss to Stoke in 26 years 2) First loss to Blackpool since 1967 3) Second ever loss to Wolves at home in 60 years 4) Worst winning percentage for a Liverpool manager since 1959 at 41.38% 5) First ever loss in Liverpool’s 118 year history to fourth division opponent (Northampton Town) 6) Lowest points total =25 (previous was 28 in 92/93 and 98/99) 7) Fewest wins = 7 8) Most defeats = 9 9) Fewest goals scored = 24 10) Worst goal difference = -3 11) Joint worst league position =12th
I'm not standing up for Roy, I ****ing hated watching us under his leadership, but... 1) How many games? 2) How many games? 3) How many games? 4) No argument! 5) How many games? 6) How many games? 7) How many games? 9) How many games? 10) How many games? 11) No argument!
Hodgson was sacked as Liverpool manager with a record of 25 points from 20 games. Rodgers avoided an exact replica of that record by his side winning at hapless QPR, which left him with 28 points from 20 games. Hardly light years ahead.........
You can't really compare Hodgson's reign with Rodgers anyway because RH is a hugely experienced top flight manager and BR's had one year!
Yes although Roy inherited most of the squad that almost won the league... at least closest we've been in many years. Rodgers inherited a squad that had been butchered for a few years. Roy we were looking worse every game and playing unattractive football. With Rodgers there may be a little improvement since the summer and we occasionally look good. Rodgers is having no Hollywood season but he is not AS bad as Roy. Not quite. Roy rubbed the fans the wrong way by giving Fergie verbal bjs. Rodgers hasn't done anything that bad.
Say what? When Coutinho arrives that'll take Rodgers spending to £40m net. Hodgson ended his time at Liverpool with a negative net spend of £10m. So Rodgers has had £50m more capital to play with than old Woy. 3 points for £50m?
