Should be a routine win, shouldn't it?

Team needs to bounce back from a bad result, Killie could only draw 0-0 with Dundee at the weekend etc etc...

It's a straight-up-after-work effort for me so I shall be attending in a tin flute.

    Predictions?

I'm going with 3-1 or 2-1 to Celtic - if 3-1, with an injury time goal.

The players need to realise that they're playing for their place in the Juve game, any more like Sunday and I'd get the likes of Lassad and Hooper telt that their places in the CL game could be up for grabs for the likes of Stokes and Watt.

Stokes looked sharp when he came on and as someone asked yesterday, where the **** is Tony Watt?

He's only young and should be coming into the team slowly.

We've recently added Lassad and Miku whilst Stokes is returning from injury now.

However, just because teams are looking at Mr Hooper, he shouldn't feel he is a shoe-in for the Juve game.

Between Lassad and Hooper, there were a few second touches that were tackles yesterday <grr>

To be fair it would be very hard to leave Hooper out, he can be invisible for 89 minutes and then "Bang", goal out of nowhere.

I feel we are missing Forrest a lot too.

I think we need to give Sammy rest. Start with Stokes and Hooper.

Lennon should defo shake things up on Wednesday ... give a kick up the arse to some of them!

I'd start Stokes who looked sharp

    Give Commons a start

    Lustig RB

    Mathews LB

    Rest Vic

    Rest Sammy

    See what reaction this gets...

I would be worried about our centre defenders, ST Mirren didn't get opportunities to
bombard the centre of our defence and yet we conceded two goals, both times
the scores were unmarked and we had extra defenders marking air. Steven
Thompson scoring and him recognised as one of the worse strikers in the SPL.
The will to win or else the drop has to be the shout this week.

I know what you mean, but look at young Forrest. Bringing youngsters on too soon can cause them real problems, especially when they are speed merchants. Hamstring muscles are not fully developed before the age of 21 or so, neither are the gluteus. Large muscle groups take longer to develop and permanent damage can be done by over training them.

Neil could also be wary of putting Watt in the shop window too soon, but I suspect what has happened to Forrest is much the more likely reason for bringing youngsters along more carefully. Forrest hammies will take another couple of years to settle. Ligaments and tendons mature later and the weaker tie in puts more stress on the muscle also.

Imagine he left Vic out and we ****ed up.

There would be hell to pay.

The flip side is that it sends one helluva message.

We probably will see a reaction on Wednesday but its too little to late. This is our chance to really dominate sottish football and pull away from everyone.

I wouldn't be surprised if Vic doesn't play. I think he is injured he was his natural
Self getting stuck in charging forward etc. but for a while before he was subbed
He seemed to have stopped playing and that is not like him. Some days he
May be less effective than others but he usually gets stuck in from start to finish.

Shiels is saying today that Killie are going to start with five teenagers (but the new Northern Irish boy won't be one of them).

I'm undecided as to whether this is a good or a bad thing for us.

Teenagers might play with less fear and relish their first chance to play at CP. Conversely, they could fall to pieces, I suppose, and neglect to keep the team's shape.

Either way, I hope I'm not made to regret sitting in the freezing pishing rain tonight - really hoping for a good game and a Celtic win.

El Classico and Liverpool-Arsenal on TV tonight would both be good watches.

Here's hoping Celtic trump both these games <ok>

Think we will. Lennon will have been getting stuck into them in training and I expect us to come flying out the traps.

I see Forster is still out with a neck injury. What's happening with Forrest?

If I was in the managers shoes at celtic park I would be playing a severely second string team tonight and against ict.

    Anybody got a prediction?

I'm going to say 3-1 to the good ghuys.

Is Kenny Shiels allowed on the touchline?

If we lose tonight and the next SPL match through Neil Lennon's brave selections
I don't think Lennon would be too popular . Some of the fans are getting very restless.

4-0. I expect some serious repercussions for Kiille after our team's abysmal showing on Sunday.

Zaluska; Matthews, Lustig, Wilson, Izaguirre; Brown, Wanyama, Mulgrew, Commons; Samaras, Hooper

Subs: Thomson, Lassad, Ledley, Rogne, Kayal, Watt, Stokes

Commons and Lustig in at the expense of Ledley and Lassad.
