Where, oh where to start. I would've thought that the inference was obvious. You mentioned "foreigners talking ****e" and the main pronouncement that Rangers would sweep all before them came from apparently Scottish-born-Star-Trek-bit-actor, Ian Durrant. The first team coach - not a player saying that the team are "younger, fitter and stronger", a team coach (almost like a real one like Mjallyby, if you will) saying that you will win all four competitions you're in. Personally, I don't mind players or managers saying they believe in their team and they're going to win everything - I've got no problem with it whatsoever. However, partisan puddings that have a go at opposing players for doing it then play down their own management team doing it are perhaps betraying an otherist mindset. If that mindset is re-inforced by dodgily then stating that anyone on any "other" side, is therefore "confused" in some way shows a distinct lack of reason. In short, you're a ****
Saturday was totally ****e. I can hardly remember Montrose having the ball, but every time they did get the ball, they looked like scoring. Defensively, we are rank. Best part of Saturday was the minutes silence on 54minutes for the fan that died the other week. The place was silent and all you could hear was the players and the lone piper. Touch of class. Apart from that, I agree, we play ****e and have played ****e since Advocaat left.
There is no confusion The great club that was Rangers is no more. Frankly I'd be embarrassed to try and take trophies that had been won fairly from an extinct club...especially when their obsession with honours led to their demise. That's a key word there. Honours How do you buy honours?
I was at a birthday party on Saturday night and talking to a couple of mates who were at the game. They were talking about the minute's silence and described it exactly as you just did.
It was totally surreal. Rangers had a chance to score and the place was silent. Never experienced anything like it at a football game. It wasn't even as if the tannoy guy prompted the crowd either, the place just went completely silent. It's how I imagine an SPL game at Darkhead.
It's how I imagine an SPL game at Darkhead please please please I hope Lenny is still in charge at Kiddy Fiddlers when Rangers get back to the top, it will be party time week in week out
The silence was only broken by Ally firing a Howitzer and 40 Commando abseiling off the roof of the stand.
