i think any team who has won it or any supporter of that team would strongly disagree. Round 3 & 4 always seem to generate little interest, but if your team get to the 5th rd it becomes of interest.
I think it could be a good test to see where we are against the type of side we may be competing against next season. Obviously we need to beat Hudderfield first and actually get promoted, but you understand the sentiment.
Winnable if we get past the udders ... just a shame the two Mancs, Arsenal and Chelsea weren't drawn against each other ...
Of all the teams left in the competition I don’t think you could have planned a more boring, un-exciting draw than that. Amazing how the top 4 teams missed each other again.
The most annoying thing is that the big four were all left until the last four fixtures but still managed to be separated! Almost defied the odds.
There was the last time that fixture was played - remember it well because Millwall beat us in the previous round at the Old Den - I went on the train with my cousin - they beat us 2-0, invaded the pitch at full time then stormed our end - it was a long night!
Not many draws this round though, might have a chance of being on telly. Chelsea-Brentford going to be the obvious replay though. Well done Paul Dickov's Oldham!
Happy with this draw if we get through. Exactly the kind of draw I wanted us to get. No reason we can't give them a right good game and get through. None of their players frighten me too much and it's at home. Hopefully we'll get through to have a chance at playing them.
I'm happy with this draw as is my dad as Wigan are his second team. It will truly show us what level we are at - Wigan are a good team when they control a game but when put off their stride can be awful.
