I don't think the FA cup will distract us. It's only 4 more games to win the thing, so it shouldn't have too much of an impact in terms of wear and tear on the squad, not as much as the CL might be if we progress. For teams like Spurts and Liverpool, I think it will have a detrimental affect. Losing games always does. I think it will have taken a fair bit out of Liverpool losing at Oldham yesterday and I hope we can take full advantage of that on Wednesday.
You've got a point. I think that loss to Oldham will stop them in their tracks. We seem to be picking it up at the moment and we should go in as favourites (small) against Liverpool this Wednesday. Our squad has kept it together on the injury front, especially with the new boys and Wilshere doing so well playing most games this season.
Wilshere has been immense this season, especially seeing as he's just come back from missing an entire season. He's the engine in our team and his performances are a real example of what a great talent he is
I think Wilshere has done a lot better than expected, especially after his long lay off and having to play with new personnel. He is clearly the real deal and not overhyped like some English players.
