    They do.

I think the astronaut chap would be just the ticket, now he's jumped in with Liverpool and abandoned Spurs.

He's a massive ****ing bellend, a perfect fit.

It's amazing how hard reality can bite. Apparently world class Sterling is now **** and Allen has the physical presence of a 7 year old with polio.

Nothing like a good bit of overreaction on a Monday morning...

The problem with the likes of KPR and Baz is that, as much as they like to throw the gloryhunters tag around, they are the very embodiment of 80's Liverpool gloryhunters. They chose a team to support because that team was successful, simple as that. They watched Liverpool matches and most of the time Liverpool won, comfortably. They didn't need to appreciate whether a player was good or bad, how a team was set up, whether the manager was having an impact etc as Liverpool just won.

That was their football education and we what we learn as children is what molds us as adults. As far as they're concerned that's the way things were with Liverpool and that's the way things still should be with Liverpool. The concept of Liverpool not being the best team in Europe and not having the pick of the best players in the world will always be alien to them.

    It's funny.

I hope you haven't been calling any of those poor defenseless souls any more nasty names General Swarbs ? <laugh>

Ruff - I found it funny where he is saying about LFC kindly setting up the banter thread as a refuge for the United fans and how no other board would do it. Blissfully unaware that it was set up by a United fan as a cross board thread.

I think you get pre mod for the first couple of posts. Basically to stop those spam bots advertising ****e by creating an account and spamming straight away. Fairly recent addition to the site, so probably didn't hit any of us.

I sense another unofficial rule coming on... <ok>

I wouldn't dream of it. You should know I'm above such petty name calling Derek in Heaven <ok>

    Saw that <laugh>

He is a proper nutter - only person I've ever seen neg repping people and he does it constantly. Seems blissfully unaware of the fact that no one gives a **** <laugh>

A few weeks ago I commented that Sterling had talent but it was too early to tell whether he would be a Ryan Giggs or a Tony Daley. I still think it's too early to make that call but in typical knee jerk reaction stylee the Scousers have gone from Giggs to Daley inside a season.

I've been saying for a while that I'm not convinced by Sterling yet, he's incredibly light weight, his passing is poor and his choice of runs is usually pretty terrible, yes he has pace and that will cause teams trouble at times, but I have yet to see anything that makes me believe he's going to be a top talent, Oxlade-Chamberlain has much more ability and potential in my opinion.
