Another record broken by Rodgers.....................................

•Liverpool's defeat was the first time they have been beaten away from home in the FA Cup by a team at least two divisions below them since losing at non-league Worcester City in 1959.

Liverpool boss Rodgers "bitterly disappointed with the young players" in Oldham defeat - but also had £38m worth of his own signings in team. What Suarez, Sturridge, Borini, Allen, Henderson, Skrtel, Jones and Coates etc not exactly just came in from the youth team have they, just sound like he was blaming Sterling, Wisdom and Robinson cant really blame them 3 for losing the match can he.

Just as I was about to switch off 606 tonight, a mouser came on and made sure I left work with a smile, just some of the comments he made:

"I'm nearly in tears here"
"liverpool are a now small club (compared to our past) and i'm sick of the way this club is now run"

"me and my mates call Brendan Rodgers.....BRENTan Rodgers (after David Brent) as he is always talking in 3rd person and is a complete joke"

"Liverpool are a club built on class and tradition and Saurez makes a mockery of that class and his dirty antics are an embarrassment"

After laughing at him and his comments, I did have a wee smirk and wonder "HIAG, is that you mate" but then the scouse accent and truth made me realise he was a rare breed, an honest Liverpool fan that isn't deluded.

No, it was an obsessed Man Utd fan <ok>

They thought that Sturridge was their saviour too. I don't think that this defeat will hinder them in the PL though like I don't think our defeat will hinder us.

Liverpool has problems with gun crime and knife crime every bit as bad as London, but don't let that get in the way of your well-informed and adequately researched comment...

Liverpool has 5% of London's population, but the crime statistics you posted aren't 5% of London's, are they? My viewpoint isn't stereotypical - comments about stolen hubcabs, burglary and pickpocketing are.

Considering him and BBF neg repped me for suggesting Suarez dives and will do anything needed to win, you would think they would have the decency to revert that, considering Suarezs public admission and confirmation of what I said.....actually, mousers & decency?

Do you know what the stats are for theft of hub-caps?

Nobody argues with the fact that Suarez dives or that he'll do anything he has to to win. In fact its that very quality that has got him this far. The problem lies when people repeat it over and over like we don't already know. We accept it.

Bale will dive, not sure if he'll do everything he can to win. Gerrard will dive and do everything he can to win. Suarez is a passionate individual and I'd much rather he were on our team than we were facing him.

Personally I can't understand why he is disliked to the extent he is. He has a reputation on the field, fine. But he's no El Hadj Doiuf. He is also no Titus Bramble, or even John Terry. It's very unlikely we'll ever see any off field drama from him.

The "BRENTan Rodgers" comment cracked me up!

His overall attitude to the game, basically. He's like Craig Bellamy on steroids.
A surly, snarling, snapping whinger, who berates the officials constantly and seems to cheat every other game. Not much to like, despite his ability.

It's like the Ronaldo/Messi contrast. Both superb players, but one's not widely liked. Why?

Fair play if you was happy to admit that, as it was tiring hearing liverpool fans defend the guys antics and yes we have Bale who clearly dives, yet I try not to hide from the fact and condemn him when he does as I hate seeing players cheat in the game.

I disliked Suarez before he arrived, after what he done to Ghana in the world cup, as I saw this little rat faced weasel jump up and deny Ghana, and I've always disliked the way he conducts himself.

However no denying he is a top player and one of the best we have in the league.

Racially abusing opponents and attempted cannibalism tend to make people unpopular - although his card was marked with some people for his handball against Ghana in the World Cup, which I think was ludicrous as he and Uruguay were punished with a red card and a penalty respectively, so it was up to Ghana to take advantage (and people look the other way at the fact Uruguay should've had a penalty less than two minutes earlier...)

Scoring a penalty isn't easy in such a high pressure game in the world cup, so when you have a nation like Ghana, not exactly football giants, denied by a blatant cheat, it was as blatant handball you can get, then it shows what type of player the guy is.

I'll be entirely honest and say that if an England player had done it in the same position I wouldn't have given a **** about the morality of the situation.

Thats your call yet football has rules for a reason so if a player decides to use his hand and save the ball as if he's a keeper, then he clearly has zero morals and respect for the game and will do anything needed to win, add this to the fact that same player dives and was charged with racial abuse......there’s a pattern forming there so you can understand why he's disliked.

No, they're 4% <doh> Also, Merseyside has 17% of the population of London <doh>

The firearm crimes are per 100,000 people so population doesn't matter for those <doh>
