German heavyweights Borussia Dortmund are in for QPR talisman Adel Taarabt.

The Moroccan schemer’s influential role in Rangers’ promotion season has caught the eye of the new Bundesliga champions.

They are hoping the offer of Champions League football will convince the 21-year-old to head to Germany.

Ex-Tottenham reserve Taarabt is one of the hottest properties in Europe, with Liverpool and Real Madrid also reportedly interested.

It might sound crazy but if we get a good price for him maybe we should cash in? Top player but an unknown quantity at Premiership level. After all we only paid around 1m quid for him. Whatever happens, I hope our Nelly does whats right for the entire squad.

Don't need the money, why sell? I can see him having a season with us before he moves on. He is NOT a proven Premiership player.

I think that Adel will stay at least one premiersip season with us to prove he can cut it there. That will give him the chance to prove Harry was wrong to let him go. Hopefully, Hary will also decide that Walker, Kranja and Defeo can also join the superhoops for £1 mill each. Come on Harry, you know it makes sense!!

Cash in now while his value is high it will not work elsewhere anyway and we can get him back at a cut price.

For those of you not blessed with Italian (like me)

Gianluca Of Marzio, known sporty journalist of Sky and expert of calciomercato, writes on its site official gianlucadimarzio. com, that at least for this season will be very difficult to see the Moroccan Adel Taarabt (21), in Italy, where Juventus and Latium are following it from several months. The motive are complex, from the high requests of its squad, the Queens Park Rangers, to the obstacles represented from Real and United, that for some time extended the hands on the young talent: "Adel Taarabt best gambler of the English Championship was elected, the ours serious B. It is Moroccan, class 89, marked 19 goal in the Qpr promoted in Premier, simply is not an attaching true. It pleases him in fact it leave dall' outside, to do the full one of dribbling and fantasy, a gambler that in Italy would do very well, at least so swears my father that if the berry to London. They follow it in a lot at home, it pleases to the Juve and to the Latium but the cost is important: the Qpr will fire at least 20 million pounds (the Tottenham is eaten the hands to have lost it all), a pò to hold it still another year, a pò because behind there are already United and Real Madrid. However it go, it will be a success".

Not a perfect translation, but it give the gist....

Tut tut tut Rollercoaster, I've got chrome (automatic perfect translation):

The reasons are manifold, from the high demands of his team, Queens Park Rangers, the constraints of Real and United, who have long stretched his hands on young talent: "Adel Taarabt was voted best player of the English Championship, our B series, and Moroccan, Class 89, has scored 19 goals in Qpr promoted to the Premier, although not a true striker. He likes it from outside, get your fill of dribbling and imagination, a player who would do very well in Italy, or so my father swears that if the spoils in London. follow him in so many of us, like Juve and Lazio but the cost is important: Qpr will fire at least 20 million pounds (Tottenham hands to eat it lost everything ), a little to keep him another year, a little behind because there are already United and Real Madrid. Whatever happens, it will be a success. "

Joe Cole ‘offered to QPR’ in Liverpool swap bid for Adel Taarabt
Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish’s bid to make QPR star Adel Taarabt his first signing since taking over as permanent boss has been stepped up a notch with the news that he is prepared to offer marquee signing Joe Cole in part-exchange.

Taarabt lit up the Championship this season as he led Rangers to the title and a Premier League return, immediately sparking interest from a number of top clubs including Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea - as well as Liverpool.

The former Spurs youngster has been coy over his future in recent weeks, suggesting his head could be turned by a big-money move.

And Dalglish, who is determined to refresh the squad he inherited from former boss Roy Hodgson, has reportedly offered Rangers the option on playmaker Cole if they will allow talks between the Reds hierarchy and Taarabt’s agent.

Cole and his wife are said to be eager to return to London with their young family to be closer to their relations, having failed to settle on Merseyside since the 29-year-old made a free transfer switch from Chelsea 12 months ago.

The former England star’s exorbitant wages - believed to be in the region of £90,000 a week - could prove a huge stumbling block.

However, Liverpool’s new owners are prepared to splash out on new talent - and this eagerness to bring in top names could also see them do their best to facilitate the deal by offering Cole a lump-sum payoff to get him to accept reduced terms from QPR.

100% in agreement - it could ruin the team spirit, not to mention the finances. It is going to be a long summer!
