Not only us now is it?!!

Tolls also for clubs who can't blame poor form or under confidence for dire FA Cup results.

To Norwich, Chelsea, Tottenham and Liverpool. Thanks for your support!

Yeah, but they lined up in a 4-2-4 formation. On top of that they had an inexperienced back line and back up goalkeeper. Doomed for failure against a battling Oldham side. Another Brendan Rodgers masterpiece, not sure Swansea know how lucky they are with the change of management they've had.

I must admit that I thought that Liverpool side picked showed a total lack of respect for the opposition, they got exactly what they deserved, just like we did. We'd have got Barnsley at home and had a great chance of the quarters if we'd taken it seriously...

Add Aston Villa to that list.... Chelsea at least scraped a draw and have another go!

As a nation we are sitting back and watching one of the world's great football tournaments go down the toilet. Do we really prefer a half chance of slow tedious European football to the cut and thrust of the FA cup?

Sooper, how did they show lack of respect? The Liverpool team was worth £100m!!

Not to take away from the negatives and disappointment but as Brix points out, it is not just us. That is the magic of the FA cup. Oldham have 1 point from the last eight games!!

I wonder if it is hard to apply oneself when you know that half the fans think you should exit the cup to conserve effort for the league?

I am really not trying to justify the poor performance but the fact that four premier league teams exit in the same w/e does makes you wonder about the various factors that operate for success or conspire to defeat.

Having said all of that, I feel very sorry for the many kids at yesterday's match for many of whom it would have been their first Rss live experience.

Just shows how poor the Premier League is this season!

Rodgers would never have picked four forwards for a Premier League match, the side was unbalanced and Oldham took full advantage. He then obviously thought I'll just bring Gerrard on to put things right. It was cocky over-confidence and they paid the price...

So true this. Imagine. £15 entrance would've fetched a lot of youngsters in for their first opportunity to see them 'Oops for the first time. And oops! was exactly what they got unfortunately.

Some, the more local or decerning ones, will end up like us saddos: hooked on emotional rollercoasters! Dare say a fair few others will have taken the less sophisticated option and developed a soft spot for MKD!
